So Jellygrade, will you make us a true, hardcore city-building sim, complete with any problem a real city would encounter. That said online connectivity between cities could make for an interesting multiplayer experience, if it's done right that is.

As a long time fan of COD (has waned since BOps 1's heyday) I'll be interested to see what they have in store for multiplayer this time around, but there's a real chance this could be the first year in which I don't purchase a COD game since 2005. GTA V, Watchdogs, BF4, and the free-to-play Forge of Empires could very well pave the way into next year for me.

Wind Waker is cel-shaded goddammit! Why the hell does it need to be remade in HD? If you were one of the few loyal Nintendo fans left, playing a Wii U, why not just pop in the original GameCube disc and have a go at it? Oh I see, the Wii U doesn't support GameCube games just so they can make more money selling them on VC... wow.

@Yan_Stalker That was because in the original Grid the developers determined that a very small percentage of players were using the cockpit view, so they decided not to bother doing that work for this game. A real shame, I always use cockpit view, that's how you get immersed in the driving experience... but I can understand why it may not be so popular.

@wexorian Could be worse... I'd much rather have a truly expansive open-world game with average graphics than a game with top-notch graphics that only has a tenth as much there is to do in.

@cursealoud @NicAgent @AzatiS I think gamers are finally starting to get the message about rehashed garbage... Gears of War Judgement showed a 75% drop in sales compared to Gears of War 3.

@AzatiS If anything's going to kill COD Ghosts it will be GTA V or Watchdogs... BF4 I'm very skeptical of in light of what is happening with SimCity.

I would surely hope that Microsoft would come up with a better name than "Xbox 720"... that name has been around gamers' heads for years merely on the basis of the number being twice that of 360. Trust me M$, you do not want to be like Atari, going from 2600 to 5200 then 7800, you know how that went for them, right?

While it does seem interesting that there is a Gears of War take on Black Ops' gun game mode, this announcement is just further weight to the case that Epic Games is more interested in corporate greed and not the gamers' interests at heart.

I would like to thank the gaming audience who manned up and stayed away from this game, and helped contribute to it making only one-quarter of the launch revenue of Gears of War 3. Every one of of them (me included) former Gears fans who refrained are helping to make developers realize that they are not going to get away with this rehashed bullshit for much longer.

Once more developers realize where video games are heading, and stop releasing rehashed games, the sooner it will be fun to be a gamer again, and the sooner we don't have to relegate our Xbox/PSN time solely to watching Netflix. We want the few good releases like Biohock and GTA V to be the norm, not the exception.
