how much do you think a 25-30" HDTV would cost?sly_fiz
You can get a low end 720p for around 600bucks I would guess..... But I highly recommend 40" or better.....check circuit city, they have some good sales going

I play on a 32" Vizio (VX32L) HDTV. It's amazing for the price.

What 40" TV did you get, exactly?

Aaron89

I got a 40" LCD Samsung 1080p 60ghz refreshrate

Awesome choice. If at the time (one year ago) I had 2x the disposable income, I would've opted for a Samsung. Have fun gaming in HD, MrYates!

Thanks, I know I will, I must now retract all 24 reviews I have and replay every game!!!!!

You're really late to this party. Welcome to the present. I got my first HDTV in January 2006. Didn't see the point in having a 360 if I didn't have a HDTV. I got my 360 launch day 2005. I'm on my second HDTV now. It's a 40" 1080p Samsung.

I seriously doubt there will be many people still using SDTV's. If you've got a PS3 or 360 and don't have some kind of HDTV or monitor by now then DAMN! Catch up.

I have 2 young boys that take up the pay check, not to mention a 07silverado and a Mortgage payment, so Luxuries costing 1500 dollars are a investment in my household, I actually got PS3 and 360 with the TV in mind down the road but if your married you understand that talking the wife into a TV is a ordeal, at least for me it was...But I am off and running now, no matter how late

I have fathomed this question a long time! But it really boils down to TIMING is everything...Halo was the first of its kind, so to speak, it had a story and some good gameplay and became a instant hit for Xbox owners....They grabbed ahold of this title and have stuck by it, and you can't blame them. I was late to the craze and got Halo 3 only to realize that if it was a stand alone title its appeal would be nothing, I did not like the game nor did the story intrest me, but there have been folks following it since the begininng and will swear by it.....I am the same way with MGS, I loved the first one and stuck with them even when 2 & 3 were very subpar in comparison to other games out there....But I had a internal tie to the series and overlooked its short comings...Much Like Halo fans

Say guys & gals, I finally got the wife to break down and we went and purchased a 40" LCD tv this weekend to replace the 32" SD tv that we've had.....Well after applying my HDMI cables and putting in a game (COD 4) I instantly was FLOORED to say the least, I cannot explain the picture difference and my gaming days have been for ever changed....What are you gaming on, tv wise? HD or SD?

PS: I can no longer bash RSV2 for the small writing and lighting issues, on a 40" LCD this game is perfect!!!

Lets be honest if you played COD 4 how do you make the transition to Vegas online....The interface and matchmaking process is a serious headach and its so simply handeled in COD4...You jump into a lobby upgrade your weapon and then BOOM you gaming....RSV2, you have to first find a session not full, then get in the lobby, wait on every one to get ready and then get thrown in a game that is abysmal...How does anyone play RSV2 online...I love the idea of getting ranks and transfering but man online is a beating........COD 4 or Vegas online???? And Halo all you do is JUMP online its like a track competition

play it! what do you think?mentos_eater424
I picked it up yesterday and played for 5 hours killed maybe a hanful of things, I felt like I was watching some kinda bad movie....If you like dialogue and cinamatics then you should get this, but if you actually like playing a game then don't.The shooter mechanics and combat itself are nothing to write home about...I don't watch my games..I like to play them...
