That is a DAMN good question. Whenever I play a Zelda game, particuarly Majora's Mask or Ocarina of Time, I ALWAYS seem to come upon a cryptic part that I just can't get past. Remember in Ocarina of Time, how, right after you get the Slingshot in the Great Deku Tree you have to shoot a ladder to make it fall down so you can get out of the room? I was stuck on that part for a while and finally just had to resort to a guide. That's just one bad example, but the fact of the matter is that I don't like using guides at all. But I feel, where would I be without them? Hopelessly stuck on parts of the game for hours when I can solve it in a matter of minutes by looking at a text document?

Devil May Cry 1, hands down, no contest.

1) Devil May Cry

2) Devil May Cry 3

3) Namco Museum 50th Anniversary Edition

I'm aware that after the game was released in Japan, Capcom decided to make the game harder for an American release because many Americans found Devil May Cry 2 to be too easy. The result? The opposite criticism. So they released the "Special Edition." Reviewers always just say they made the difficulty easier and fairer but never go in to the specifics. Let's take a look at this.

Japanese Normal Difficulty: Easier

American Normal Difficulty: Harder

American Special Edition Difficulty: GFNIERJFUBG

My question is pretty simple: Is the American Special Edition Normal difficulty (And all other difficulty modes, I guess) the original Japanese Normal difficulty, or did Capcom take the hardened American difficulty and tweak it? I'd prefer to play the original, Japanese Normal difficulty and may resort to importing if the case may be.

Thanks,

MOTHER 2 with everything for the Super Famicom. I also have Final Fantasy VII with everything, the original non-greatest hits version.

Only a hardcore fan can answer this question. Wikipedia says that the American and Japanese PSX versions differ in that the American has a different Game Over Screen and is harder. I just want to play the version that the director, Hideki Kamiya, intended to be played. (I don't care about the game being in Japanese) However, I plan to get the DREAMCAST version, not the PSX version, and was wondering how the American and Japanse Dreamcast versions before.

I wish that was all, but it's not. What about the Dreamcast PAL version?

So my question is this: What is the difference between the NTSC-U, NTSC-J, and PAL versions of Resident Evil 2 on the Sega Dreamcast?

im just wondering bcuz im thinkin about getting em.just want to know if they are worth the money.

crashhat69

Totally! They aren't overated at all, they're both huge and epic amazing games. They both evolve an already amazing series in ways not possible, they both have graphics that take advantage of the seventh generation, they both have awesome onlines, and they're both just fun. In fact, those should be the FIRST two games you get for the PS3 or 360. Even the Wii has COD4!!!

Would be nice if we could get Rondo of Blood, at least.SteveTabernacle

You uh, didn't answer the question...Also, Rondo of Blood is on PSP in Dracula X Chronicles, at first only a 3D remake is available but you can unlock Symphony of the Night and the original Rondo of Blood...It's also on the Wii virtual console. As far as I know it isn't even on the Japanese PSN, which is kind of strange considering there are Konami games and CD games on there, but it might be soon...But please, can someone answer my questions? Thanks for commenting anyway. :)

I'm positive that the Japanese have PC Engine (The Japanese version of the Turbografx 16) games available for download from PSN and playable on the PS3 and PSP. I googled if it was in America and I got news articles saying that it was most likely coming to America, nothing saying that it was...But nothing from Sony. I search for Turbografx 16 PSN and their website, search ON their website, and just look around in the PSN section, and nothing. Wikipedia doesn't say anything about Turbografx 16 games in America either...

So are they there, or are they coming? :( The Turbografx 16 is such an awesome system with so many awesome exclusive video games that I would love to play on the PS3...:( I just wish Namco would start putting their games on it and that it would get as many Turbografx 16 games as the Wii has...:(

Could you people, PLEASE, PLEASE, read my freaking posts before replying!? I don't care if you don't give a crap, but if you're going to retaliate PLEASE actually understand what I am saying!!

"Are you serious? Are you serious? Are you serious? Wow, you're sad!" Nice comebacks. Very clever. You really stated WHAT you disagreed with, and WHY. Nice.

"You hate the Wii you think it's for grandmas." GET THIS THROUGH YOUR HEAD. I BELIEVE THAT THE WII IS A FANTASTIC VIDEO GAME CONSOLE. But Nintendo isn't the reason for this, which brings me to...

"WHY?" AGAIN, THIS WAS ANSWERED, IN MY FIRST POST. Nintendo has just been recycling the same gameplay and ideas for YEARS, and hasn't come up with anything original in a long, long time. And people buy (In both definitions) it. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is Super Mario Galaxy. Super Mario Galaxy is Super Mario 64 in Space. Twilight Princess is a flashy version of Ocarina of Time. Donkey Kong Country Returns is Donkey Kong Country with better GARFIX. And you all fall for it.

Wow, you people are sad. As if I don't have the right to post my own opinion, as if I'd get BANNED for that. Super Mario 64 = Masterpiece, NES = Perhaps the best video game system of all time, SNES = Perhaps the best system of all time. I just think Nintendo has died NOW. Besides, HELLO, my username, from Mother 2/Earthbound, the greatest RPG of all time, on the Super NES? My username isn't PS3FTWGTFOWII, is it!?

And they're we go again with the Wii Fan Boy-Ism. "Nintendo's much more creative then all the dumb shooting games on the 360 and PS3!" I can't say "False" because you're entitled to your own opinion, but I can say that there are some absolutely marvelous games on the PS3 and 360 that aren't on the Wii. Half Life 2 is a clever, atmospheric, and immersive masterpiece. Call of Duty 4 is an emotional game that depicts the horrors of modern war. Killzone 2 is a game that clearly shows effort, time, and innovation. Can't you people just understand that the PS3 and 360 are great consoles too? I love the Wii, I just think the PS3 and 360 are much better. Please, actually read my post. I'm not being a fanboy here. I respect all consoles. I'm just saying that Super Mario Galaxy 2 isn't worth the price of admission,(30/40/50 bucks)and neither are most Wii games made by Nintendo.
