Who cares if the darn things were worth 1 cent on eBay, It's freaking Atari. Tell them you found it, and offer to pay them at least 50 bucks to keep it as long as it works perfectly. And collect more games, and play it to hell. It's THE ATARI 2600!

I'm copying and pasting this from another thread but it heavily applies here. :P

If you mean did it sell well, then it's a fact it was a failure. But is it good or bad? I think it's alright. It had a few good games on it that made it worth owning. Here are some of them:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*************

Batman Returns

An impressive looking game that included some great cutscenes and driving stages. It's a revamp of the sidescrolling action Genesis game, and includes remixed music.

*************

Bram Stoker's Dracula

Another very impressive looking game that flows very well, the gameplay is decent punching and kicking monsters, but it's one you should have fun with.

*************

Dragon's Lair

Not much to say here, except the quality isn't as good as some other ports. Still, it's Dragons Lair at home on your TV, and you can't really go wrong there.

*************

Final Fight CD

An amazing 2D beat em up with excellent graphics and sound, it might just be the best in the series. You can't go wrong.

*************

Night Trap

The cult cl@ssic on the Sega CD, you switch between rooms and watch FMV scenes in an effort to catch thugs trying to raid a house. The only way to get good is to play it over and over, but it's good, cheesy fun.

*************

Sonic CD

The most well known and popular game on the Sega CD, Sonic CD is very similar to Sonic 1, 2 and 3 (Although it came before 3) on the Sega Genesis, but contains much better quality music and some good use of the graphics hardware. The level design is tricky in this one, with large and confusing levels with narrow passageways and things that will knock you around. Still, it's a great Sonic game. Purists should pick up the Japanese version, as almost every track was changed for the American release.

*************

Terminator

A cool shoot em up with amazing music and nice looking graphics, there's some shooting limitations but very little. One of the few good Terminator games, worth checking out.

*************

Time Gal

A game very similar to Dragon's Lair, press the right button at the right time to continue the animation lest you watch as you die. It has a strange anime syle to it, and there's nothing spectacular here, but if you loved Dragon's Lair on Sega CD, this should be a nice little treat.

*************

Wonder Dog

A cute, kid friendly platformer that actually has pretty good gameplay, just jump around and shoot starts at enemies, simple, but fun.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow, that turned out to be a long list! So if you think the Sega CD is a completely horrible system, think again, it has some good games! Pictures courtesy of Shinforce, Veoh, Yosemite Sam NET, and Sega CD Universe, I chose witch games to talk about and found the screenshots at Video Game Critic's list of Sega CD reviews.

NOTE: I TRIED MAKING THIS A SPOILER TO AVOID IT TAKING UP SPACE, GAMESPOT WOULDN'T LET ME!

Hey, I just had a question that only the hardest of hardcore Sega fans could answer.

**********

Can the North Americain Sega Master System play the SG-1000 games (SG-1000 games were only released in Europe and Japan), and if so, is there some games it can't play?

Also, if not, is there SG-1000 games that the European and Japanese Sega Master Systems can't play? (As I'm pretty sure the European and Japanese ones can play [most?] SG-1000 games, verify please?)

**********

Probably a lot of people don't know what the SG-1000 is. :P Thanks, I guess that turned out to be 3 questions.

Hey guys... what's up? Great site here. I have a bit of a really random question though... So I have several PS2 memory cards of different colors (all are Sony MagicGate 8MB) and they all work great, except one. One of them is somehow damaged (possibly bent?) so that I have to press it up against the memory card slot for it to be read. I don't really use it because of this, but I was wondering if pressing it up against the slot is also damaging to my PS2 console. Would this mess up the slot? Also... how in the world could that happen to the memory card? I don't shove screwdrivers or legos into it. :P It's not really a loss, just wondering if any of you know. :PRACiEP

Get a new memory card and copy the data from the messed up one on to the new one.

70's 80's 90's 00's or this year?

loft8000

That's the hardest question I've ever been asked. Either the Atari, Intellivison and Colecovision age, the NES, Sega Master System and MSX age, or the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Neo Geo and Turbo Grafx age. (Those include portable systems like the Gameboy, Game Gear, Atari Lynx and Game and Watch) I just can't decide, the Atari age had simple but groundbreaking and addicting games, while the Intellivison and Colecovision had better graphics, unqiue controllers, and some great exclusives, the NES age had absolute masterpieces like Zelda, Mario, and Phantasy Star that started series that still exist today, not to mention the MSX and MSX2 just being cool, and the Super Nintendo has a breathtaking library and the Genesis has some phenomenal action games, not to mention the Turbo Grafx having a pretty great library too. It's a shame I can't say which is the best, but they're all just so good.

[QUOTE="MrSaturn33"]

Alright, thanks everyone, but where do I get the Enemy Skill Materia, and how do I use the enemy skill once I have it? I mean, is it Materia of its own, or what? Thanks!

fastr

enemy skill is a materia of its own, when you have it equipped you can use any skill that materia has learned. So if you have multiple enemy skill materia (there are 4 in the game I believe, possible only 3?) each one has it's own skills it's learned.

Thanks, but one more question! Can one Enemy Skill Materia have multiple Enemy Skills on it? If so, only 3 would be needed!
