This looks mighty epic, though that may be the influential and guiding nature of the music choice. That being said, the voice acting sounded pretty terrible.

Meditations is sort of anti-Ryse. As far as I can tell Ryse's story is mainly motivated by revenge, whereas the Meditations would argue against such an emotion/motivation. For Marcus Aurelius, death was such a part of living that one shouldn't even mourn the loss of children. I guess that part of it sort of fits, but the death of family member shouldn't rouse any more emotion than then death of a flower or criminal.

@Gabe_Logan_666 I am a hater and I would love more drastic changes, but I was once a fan. I spent many, many hours blazing and playing the first MW. I'd say there are plenty more like me, so you're not completely wrong.

There is no reasonable way to compare a video game franchise to a fucking sport. Particularly a franchise that practically comes out with a new game every year. It disgusts me that anyone would continue to buy these games when the people behind them obviously don't give two shits. Why release a new one at all, if it's like football? There aren't brand new leagues that the professional athletes play in on an annual basis. And if it's "perfected," then there shouldn't be any need to release another CoD game ever. You can't improve on perfection.

The game is looking pretty awesome. I wasn't even excited about it before but now I can't wait.

I'm intrigued at least, but we'll have to wait and see what it actually plays like before I'll take real interest.

Despite backtracking and righting most of the wrongs of the Xbox One, I still probably won't invest in one for three main reasons. It's now clear where Microsoft intends to take their products. They could easily just trickle in small features until they finally get the Xbox One back to their original vision. Exclusives are becoming less important to me as well, as games become more expensive to produce most companies have to release on multiple platforms. I also think that with the sweet benefits of PS+ it will become the better service, if only for all the free shit. That being said, since it will become essentially mandatory I fear they may scale back those benefits, but that has yet to be seen. In any case, I'm throwing my hat in with the PS4.

Your segments are the best Danny. You've just got such a great sense of humour, and delivery. As long as you keep makin' 'em I, and I'm sure many others, will continue watching. Best of luck.

I think the most telling thing about this issue is that violent game sales have been rising steadily, whereas violent crime is generally falling. If violent games could lead to real world violence, shouldn't we see the opposite trend?

@PostNothing Couldn't agree more. I said the same thing regarding the launch trailer. Something about the ultraviolence and 80's synth heavy soundtrack. Good review as well Danny. Can't wait to play this.
