I'll buy it when they remove the always-online requirement, make the cities bigger without having to buy additional "content," and allow local multiple saves.  Otherwise, it's nothing I want.

Check some news items about EA just published today.  They are disabling some features of the game in an attempt to get it to work, and they are suspending marketing of the game as well.

That speaks volumes.

I read that eventually they will offer premium content FOR SALE that will let you have bigger maps.  Yet another reason I refuse to buy this thing.

Amen.  EA wants to harness the power of the internet?  Fine, then they will have to suck up the other effect from the internet -- the review bombing going on at sites like Amazon (overall 1 star out of 5 rating, hundreds of 1-star, grossly negative reviews).

I think we'll be able to buy the various preorder bonus songs eventually; it'd just makes sense financially for Xbox since they're already choreographed and ready to go.  I just picked up my copy of DC3 at Best Buy and got two Usher downloads.  I'd like to have the Lady Gaga ones.
