To redo ALTtP would take much more time and effort from Nintendo, time that they could use to make an original zelda game

LaytonsCat
An original Zelda game? There's no such thing. Who told you that?

Hey, you all wish you had bought Ping Pals now that the 3DS doesn't include PictoChat. :P

Street Fighter and Ghost Recon are both great. And the stuff preloaded on the 3DS is pretty good too. It's not a great launch, but it's not terrible either. There are a few titles that should be avoided, but that's often the case.

the screen is too small and looks exactlty the same

KBFloYd
The fact that it's smaller means that it's not exactly the same. You only need to use it if you don't like the look of the upscaling. If you don't see a difference there's no need to use it.

ppl are complaining that already pixelated games look 1% more pixelated. Ignore them.

painguy1
Yeah, ignore them. People who say that don't know what "pixelated" means.

If I turn off the wireless while in a DS game I can't turn it back on. I haven't ever gotten tagged via StreetPass while a DS game is in sleep mode either, so I think use of wireless in DS games is probably limited to use of that game's local wireless or Wi-Fi Connection features. However, I do know that if a DS game is the last thing you played, tagging someone via StreetPass will let them know that you last played that game.

Nintendo has released three clock applications on DSiWare. Maybe removing the alarm clock from the system is their attempt to get us to actually buy those things.

When you upscale an image like that, it's going to affect the image. Not everyone will be bothered by it, but for those of us who are bothered by it, DS games can also be played in their native resolution. I just wish it could remember my preferred resolution settings so I don't have to hold down Start every time I launch a DS game.

Sleep mode works just fine, except when it's already flashing red. It started flashing red while I was playing at night, so I put it to sleep and placed it on the charging dock. Turns out I didn't place it the dock properly though, so it didn't charge. It was dead by morning.

Pretty much any Zelda game with bottles? That's pretty standard Zelda logic. How is someone supposed to figure out to reflect attacks using a using sword? That's also standard Zelda nonsense logic.
