@hoplayletsplay I think I'd put in 70 hours in the first five days I had it. And at least two of those hours were working out how to avoid the Asylum Demon's Ass-Bounce AOE attack.

@Emerald_Scott You don't lose any of your equipment or items, not sure where you heard that.

To be totally honest, Dark Souls isn't that difficult, it just requires a bit of concentration and investment, as long as you don't expect to breeze it you won't get too annoyed.

Personally, I find 2D platformers difficult, and didn't have much trouble with Dark Souls. I really recommend you give it a go, you'd be missing out on a great game if not.

That'll give me time to attach foam padding to my controller then.

Someone's probably just having an off day. I refuse to accept that a professional wouldn't have noticed that.

@TerraMantis I would love to see that so much. One of my favourite things about the first two LOK games was how oppressive they felt, something Dark Souls did perfectly.

@Kevin-V This is just like that scene in 1984 where Winston has a massive wank. I'm terrified for the future of mankind. And also strangely aroused.

My thoughts. Would appreciate it if anyone has the time to read.

@Mamamf

It was intended as a joke. She's not awful though. I tend to find women with brains attractive..

I really don't understand all the backlash against her if I'm honest, it's one point of view, and she's entitled to express it. She didn't misrepresent herself in her Kickstarter, and the results speak for themselves.

In what way do you find feminists 'full of it'? I'll admit I don't agree with all of Sarkeesian's views, but I think the way a large section of the male gaming public have reacted to her is proof in itself that the community needs to grow up and re-asses itself. Surely anything that makes game developers take note and start approaching narrative in games from a different angle is a good thing?

I'll watch it, but only if she's as cute as Anna Sarkeesian when she gets angry about shit.

Seriously though, here's my two cents on this, if anyone has the time to read, I'd appreciate it.
