no, its not, is still crap, crysis 2 also had these "different routes" is just a "wide" area with 2 or 3 routes with small differences, its not open map. Looked a lot like crysis 2, more than crysis 1.

to be fair it's hard for me to like crysis 3 after the "story" of crysis 2 which was just plain horrible.

See, here's the difference between Valve and EA: Valve uses digital distribution to give people better deals, thus they increase their sales overall. EA wants to use digital distribution so that they can usher in always-on internet-based DRM and high fixed prices that never go down.
