They haven't back pedaled, they have stood their ground. Change isn't always easy nor is it good for some. They are aware of this and have stated it. What their also aware of, I see it too, is the gaming industry is changing. So not only are they innovating but their leading the way as usual. Risking but reaps large rewards. You enjoy disc switching next gen as well as more of the same. Basically an upgraded ps3, nothing new. Ill be chilling instantly switching games, sharing with family in other states, gaming while skyping in snapshot, streaming through twitch(largest game streaming site), all without leaving my comfy chair. Just got home and threads still rolling. Good to see. Lots of good stuff here. Was discussing launch games today with a coworker when I didn't realize how awesome X1 lineup really was. In first 3-4 months we have Forza 5, killer instinct, quantum break, and the kicker for online gamers TITANFALL. Already a petition by jealous fanboys and gamers of course that wish it was on ps4. TITANFALL will be the next new big FPS online. Wait, the only new big FPS online. Killzone is good but never a online juggernaut. While you may think later, years from now, it will hit ps4. It's games like this one that will set the tone for next gen competitive online
To be fair it's to each their own. My situation is such that I haven't not had great Internet or a smart phone in years. I won't even notice what people are most worried about. A high percentage of people hating are either fanboys or avid game collectors who don't want to see full DD. I can see both sides but what Microsoft is doing will be amazing for those that do have Internet and that's just what it is. They have the better launch games IMO and most. Just some of what their doing is hard to swallow for some. And you don't have to. But see both sides. X1 will be sweet. Games sharing is a 10. Jealousy will be rampant on this one. Just to good to be true is all I here. Let the next gen of system wars begin. Longest 4 months ever!!!! On that we can all agree

What's over blown is people's understanding of what the drm is for. On X1, there is no disc change. All full games are on your harddrive. And don't say ps3 and ps4 can do that because the disc doesn't install full game. You would have to purchase on psn right? There's the kicker. You can't share those games. Just yours. True that. I concede as the microtransaction is usually a single content purchase within the game, still being content. But those single item purchases add up. Off topic from the original point of thread. With game sharing more people will have more access to games they usually wouldn't play
C'mon dude. Microtransactions and DLC are two different things. DLC includes stages and story content. Like a map pack for example. Micro transaction is when you buy cosmetic stuff such as a gun skin. Just stop. And the damage control in this thread is from anger over the AMAZING share games policy. Nothing has been said better about ps4 that can compare. That's the problem, you don't like the good side some of you. WOW. So while I share me game instantly across the country or region you gloat you can mail yours. What if you wanna play that game together. I can do that on the one with any one person at a time on my list. Or if I'm off in the morning I play single player, then my fam in another state play it at night. And for the last poster. The person who owns the game and one person can play at the same time. Just not two family members excluding you. The link is in my original post. Oh, forgot to ask.
