Ill still get the X1 cause its got the games I want but I'm very sad about this move. We should start a petition and voice to Microsoft that we liked what they were doing. This makes the consoles boring and really is a bummer for those ready for no disc. Also it helped integrate kinect with your games. It's against everything they were doing and looks bad. Sony took a chance with blu-ray. Microsoft should've with this!
BUMMER. Kinda, as I embrace whatever. I will enjoy collecting my games again next gen. I will also have to agree with most on here and say they need to remove kinect mandatory as I will be forced to switch disc again next gen. I don't care about the rest, it's cool but not necessary for everyone. They got it right though. Kudos. Ready for the games.
Game won't change. You'll get the persistent world if your online and stagnant if your offline. Game will work either way. Cloud will still be there for TITANFALL, Forza, and any other game that would like to utilize it. You just won't get the benefits unless your online. Just the way patches work now. If the game has bugs or is broken you don't get the fixes unless you go online
Ill be buying all digital and still enjoying all the new stuff. Funny how many went ps4 just on this. Hope if you wanna come back preorders still available and welcome to the Xbox one family
Really is a awesome move. Best of both worlds. Offer both so gamer gets to pick. Buy physical and get your benefits that way. Sell to who you want, how you want, when you want. And no 24hr checks because disc doesn't install game to the cloud. Buy digital and still get seamless transition, game sharing with family, and no disc swap. Whatever makes you happy. So not a lot has changed. Just no disc cloud installs to remove 24hr check and add physical copies.
Well this is awesome if they still offer game sharing with digital download only. I like stuff the way it was. Best of both worlds. Which I think they will do so the gamer gets a choice. I'm tired of disc and I liked what they were doing. Basically the disc doesn't install the entire game on your console anymore, which took away the need for 24hr checks and added physical form. The rest will stay the same y'all. The servers they still own and they'll still move forward with plans.

Whether you like it or not the family plan is what it is. They've already stated you can share and the link is just explaining how it works since some don't get it. All you've got is hate towards the great things happening for X1 instead of either better things happening on ps4 or debunking me. The usual from the haters round here. For example, this thread is a positive one about how we like X1, pre ordered it, and to discuss features. In comes the people trying to rain on this parade. There's no such Ps4 thread like this. Why? Because X1 is controversial due to its new innovation. And fanboys think its a chance to strike when really what there do will be the new thing. Times change. If you don't like it don't go outside
