With the Wii-U supposedly coming out this holiday of 2012 in as little as six months you would think Nintendo shouldn't have play so conservative at E3. I wanted them to finally show us the full console specs and more games in real time game-play that is supposed to come out at launch instead of trailers and casual-fest demos. Maybe they want to spread out the info throughout the next six months but they didn't have to spread it out that thin. Them not showing the juicy info now makes me wonder if they don't have much stuff to launch with and are just playing it sly to get enough people to pre-order at their high asking price before we get full details to decide it's best to hold off buying it and force them to lower price to push sales like they did with 3DS.
I don't think he meant help as in more money but as in he probably thought that the government was at least overseeing the project to prevent these type of tragedy since it was their investment also. He probably feels that the governor preaches about how he's watching out for the working class but this event suggest otherwise. I believe Governor Chafee does shares some blame in this because even though he condemns this fiasco now but the fact he let a crook like Schilling run free with tax payers money while he falls asleep at his post does seem a bit incompetent. Bet you that if the company would of came out successful Chafee would of been taking credit instead even if didn't do anything.
This redesign makes alot of sense to me. It's hinting that Nintendo is trying to streamline the controller to be more efficient for use in 1st/3rd person shooters type of games. The Start & Select buttons are more easily accessible and the new analogs works better for more variety of games then the old design. Hopefully the developers are serious and take full advantage of the control instead of just tacking it on as a gimmick.
I'm wondering if their's a connection with the developers receiving these kits and them hinting about consoles that block used media. Even if the kits are not representative of the final product I can assume that MS and Sony is experimenting with implementing a DRM that can be used to block 2nd hand market. Though still not official lets hope they get the message that people don't want such BS in their next gen consoles.
Even though the reality is that we can't play on an old PC forever, I think it's crazy to believe that everyone can pump $500 - $1000 every season just to play the latest hit games. I wish that game companies can atleast slowdown so that peaple can have fun playing games and less time worrying about working overtime to pay for the gear.
