@metallinatus: It makes sense if the game is viewed as a party game. Then having a tough initial learning curve hampers getting into to it with your friends quickly. Kind of hard to believe many will dedicate enough time to master this game like they do with other fighters like Tekken or Street Fighter.
@BeefoTheBold: If you read the ESA complaint when you click "here" at the bottom of this article it will go into more detail. But from what I can see ESA is arguing that in Chicago's Amusement Tax excludes games, movies, music and videos purchased but they feel it's illegal to tax extra to access online these games, movies, music, or videos.
We already pay tax when we purchase digital products so I believe adding this Amusement Tax is just double dipping.
@risingdawn: Not only are you being overly dramatic for a simple statement on top of that you are actually incorrect.
"Monster Hunter XX is an expanded version of Monster Hunter Generations that was originally only announced for the Nintendo 3DS. Generations was released in the west in July 2016..."
@Barighm: But Samsung's VR is powered by Oculus. Zenimax are just claiming that Samsung knew about Oculus lawsuit about using stolen VR tech but still proceeded to make the deal with them anyway. Just seems like maybe Samsung was overconfident that with a giant like Facebook as the owner of Oculus would help them win the case and took the risk of using the tech anyway.
Oh, NO! If they screw net neutrality I just know these isp companies will throttle my adult entertainment unless I give them extra money like a net pimp.
