To be honest, Nintendo hasn't impressed me in the last 5-10 years, probly because of the reptition of games that we're discussing, BUT, the announcement of the sequel to "A link to the past" is probly the most excited i've ever been for a game announcement in my whole life. So i really think it all comes down to each persons personal experiences with games and their memories of certain things. While an announcement of a new modern Starfox would excite another individual, i wouldn't even care, because i don't have fond memories of playing the game because i hardly played Starfox.

@richlockard Exactly. Twilight princess was the last acceptable zelda made IMO. Since those DS toon link versions and Skyward sword, i thought Zelda was going downhill and had its day. But this looks very promising.

I will never get sick of Zelda games, or Mario games. If Nintendo keeps continuing franchises, adding another concept and story line to each one forever and ever, I would be perfectly happy. Thats what Nintendo is for. To keep the nostalgia going, while barely keeping up with modern games. If they end up listening to self proclaimed hardcore gamers that want nothing more than shooters that just add better graphics and more complex story lines, then thats when they fail. I play 360 and ps3 for the new "idea" games and "graphics" here and there. I will play Zelda and Mario FOREVER. When Nintendo stops making Zeldas and Marios, thats when i stop playing Nintendo.

@Shingetsu that difference in water color you're seeing is the borders of two biomes meeting each other. Most likely a standard biome meeting the darker water of a jungle biome.
