I think this is a great usage of the new kinect 2.0 power and features. And by the way, I do not believe somebody will buy a p90x for xbox one just to play a game, those are serious training programs that can help you keep in real shape.
I saw some people mention PS4 will have something similar, and I would think so, but to be honest, though I like PS4, the camera for PS4 does not convince me. And if I am getting a PS4, I am well aware that xbox one camera is more powerful.
@Forcecaster yeah, about the FPS, when I heard it will run at 30 fps, I was very dissapointed.... see the FPS announced for every game is the TOP one, meaning it will run at most 30fps, bur mostly below that, like current gen.
This is my favorite game for next gen, and that is going to run at 30fps dissapointed me.
Xbox one is based on decent hardware, as of today.... but let's face it, neither xbox nor ps4 have cutting edge technology that support a 10 years cycle.
Soon enough developers will start to complain about their limitations for future technologies on these plattforms.
So I believe, and it is my opinion, that neither console have the power to support a 10 years cycle. I think they have to focus on their console power now and in short term or not talk about it at all, cause it sounds like bull ***t when they say these things.
@Queuingreturns @KelboDelta Well, I respect your opinion about open world.
I believe that "Open World" means exactly what it says, an open world to whatever you please to do, in the order you want to. Related or not to the story.
If it is a setting of the story only or restricts you from doing things other than follow the storyline, then it should not be called open world.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_world_game
Although the definition in the link states that it is "different approaches to the objectives", it states that in practice, such objectives may or may not contribute to the storyline, and do not interfere with the storyline. that is the freedom, to go everywhere you want and do everything you want.
That is why I believe it is called open world. My opinion.
I never thought my favorite game for next gen would crumble after playing GTA V. This was by far my favorite game for next gen, among others I still like, but I recently got GTA V and now it looks pale and like playing on a dead town or something.
I'm not talking about car mods or anything, which it would be awesome to have, but about how the town feels around the character when you see the gameplay.
wow, it is just overwhelming how different it looks now.
