Current gen only, no next gen.... I think I will pass or buy it when the price is down. If it were next gen, this would have been a great time, with the game catalog being limited, then yes, but current gen already has a lot to choose from and with a lower price.
Well, I have a WII U and I am very dissapointed for the lack of games. I was glad at the beginning of this year that I would see bayonetta 2 on it, it was originally scheduled for november this year, but it has been delayed for next year, where I do not think it will be relevant anymore since I will be playing my ps4.
Nintendo rushed this console so fast that they forgot the system needed GAMES to sell. Arrogant decision from their part, and they are paying the consequences.
Multiplatform games will not sell WIII U, because people, like myself, will probably buy it for the console they already have. They need third party exclusives. Bayonetta 2 is a good example, but it is still not enough to make people pay hundreds of dollars for a WII U.
Nice logic for the crap reviews some reviewers make.
I would believe all of it, if it wasn't for the fact that many reviews score, for example, low, while user based reviews of the same game score high, and viceversa. That doesn't always happen.
I believe, what happens is that some reviewers FAIL, and I emphasize this word, to be objective to the review because of their personal preference, instead of giving an objective and structured review. They instead attack a game because they do not like it, or because that is not their preferred genre, and even because they don' t know what they are reviewing!
Remastered HD games being attacked because of the IA (if you change IA it wouldn' t be a remastered game, but something different), or controller layout despite of being the same layout as the original. Adventure games being lowered in score because they are compared to adrenalin rushed games made by the same publisher or because it uses the same character. I have seen reviewers overlook a great story because they did not like the controller layout (THAT'S CRAZY!)
This, and other fails are open world games that give you the freedom to choose sidequests or story quests, but they fail to let you know which is which, making you lose your time if you want to just past the game, and that has been overlooked.
The only place I have seen STRUCTURED reviews is in GameInformer. Their reviews are not perfect, no one's review is, but at least they establish which criteria of the games they are reviewing.
I believe each genre should have a structure to be reviewed by. That way, a game that is supposed to give you a story is reviewed by it, a game that is supposed to make you drive like the real thing is reviewed by it. Something that makes sense to the game being reviewed.
BUT most importantly, is that you have to make sure the person reviewing the game is NOT A HATER OR A FAN of that particular game or genre.
wow, still on current gen looks good! I like how it looks better on xbox 360 than ps3. I expected a little bit more of a difference between current gen and ps4. Where's xbox one in the comparison?
