Very few people say the PS3 is a great buy. And with the 20GB model being dropped - it closes the case entirely.
Whatever the PS3 offers won't be seen until 2 years from now - if it survives that long.
In the meantime, I suggest all the fanboys of the Wii pipe down. They are telling us the Wii is great, when all it is, is a Gamecube with a new controller.

To be honest, the PS3 is just a ps2 with better graphics.
I use my psp mostly for surfing the internet and roms, thats it.
DS I use for gamming in general.
But thats just me, but if you want instant gamming then you should get a DS.
If you want games that have loading times (Dynasty Warriors has some of the most horrible loading times I've ever been through.) Yet A LOT of multimedia. Then get a psp.
Actually just forget I posted this, this is your decision. It's hard to decide for you since I've had some good times with both systems.
I'm a little bit more of a sheep and I think you're a blind fanboy. Seriously, I do own a Wii, and Gears of War is intense fun. I only own a wii, but my own cousin owns a 360 (dopplegangers?) and I really don't see what you're talking about in Gears of War being unfun. I've spent my own days playing only Wii sports at friends' houses, and it's a lot of fun (and you do stop noticing graphics after a while.), but you can't denie gears is good fun too.
A Nintendo console is a fad? I find that very hard to believe. Especially since where I live guitar hero 2 is the fad. I personally know a preppy kid that actually sold his 360 for a ps2 and a copy of guitar hero 2. I'm dead serious.
