[QUOTE="Gridironn"]ya just looking for an addictive rpg i have oblivion! and good online ones would be great to and i have guildwars. they have to be free toSkullheart

The PC isn't made for RPGs, sadly. I hope this will eventually change because I remember a Golden Age named Squaresoft that came before us mortals once upon a time, but that age is gone, and it was only on consoles.

If the Playstation 3 returned to it's original value and purpose, it's sales would skyrocket to space.

Uh..... WHAT?!?!?!?!?

Start>Run>Type 'dxdiag' and tell us how much memory you have (system tab), processor (system tab) and video card (display tab).

P.S. laptops aren't made for gaming.

Some play games just fine... (looks at sig)

Yes, some games play just fine. The only problem for me is that you can buy a desktop for the same price that runs all games flawlessly.

Thus my tower. The laptop is primarily for work, but I want to run some games on the road well enough for me.

Minimum: Operating System: Windows XP (with Service Pack 2) or Windows Vista, CPU: Intel single-core Pentium 4 processor at 2.4GHz, System RAM: 1 GB, Video Card: Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 128MB RAM and Pixel Shader 3.0 (NVIDIA 6600 or better/ATI X1300 or better, excluding ATI X1550), Sound Card: 100% direct X 9.0c compatible sound card, 8GB of free hard drive space.

It only requires 1GB so you are fine.

nic4games

It is right. You meet the minimum, but not the recommended.

A game doesn't have to be revolutionary to be fun.

8800 gts 320mb

and 2 gigs of ddr2

will be able to max out

Gears Of war

Call of duty 4

Crysis

Far Cray

Not with only 320 megs of video memory. Hell, even Bioshock recommends 512 megs....

Read times from a Hard Drive are much much faster than from a CD/DVD. You would get poorer performance and more loading times with read from the disk games.
