@supernaught360 owned me? haha yeah right i'm not the one who thinks movie streaming and game streaming are identical, you do realise the vita has to process the game, display it and then stream it all in real time at 720p to a TV all at once while someone interacts with it??? ... Not... going... to.... happen... Get over it. Google the term "Prerendered" and you get: "Pre-rendering is the process in which video footage is not rendered in real-time by the hardware that is outputing or playing back the video." - There is a MASSIVE difference to simply streaming a movie(pre-rendered) compared to streaming a game which you have to interact with in real time on a handheld... @supernaught360 Yeah sure have the Vita render games at 720p and then display it on a TV or you could just use a PS3 like any sane person would rather do instead. Whats the point in the Vita having to process it's games at a higher resolution when barely anyone is going to hook it up to a TV more than once a week. Oh and i'm pretty sure games are rendered at one resolution and upscaled so i don't think the Vita could natively alter the output resolution to suite the screen it's displaying on without having to either upscale the game, or run a completely different version of the game which has been rendered at 720p to suite you.
@supernaught360 780p? What is this? A new standard of HD that no one else except you knows about? :lol: You think a 1080p movie requires the same power to display as a game? Wow... and you say i need to read up on tech lol thats almost sig worthy.
@supernaught360 Your name plus your comment screams "LEM!!". Why would you want to output Vita to a TV when the PS3 can do it fluidly to begin with? I'd rather not have a 544p image upscaled when my PS3 can play the same game much better. Also a few publishers have made comments regarding releasing PS2 titles on PSN and having a PS2 emulator, i read an article but it only said the person being interviewed quickly changed the subject when he was asked about PS2 Emulation. So maybe we will get PS2 games but don't bet on it.
