"You should shut up because you don't know what you're talking about" is never a good proposition for ending an argument. Not being open with details makes it sound like you have something to hide. If you don't understand the details, simply admit that you don't know. Attempting to cover up your lack of knowledge with marketingspeak and technology buzzwords makes you sounds like a tool.

Your potential customers have every right to be anxious about your new hardware, Mr. Penello. I'm on my fourth Xbox 360 (fifth if you count the one that was DOA and went right back to the store). Talk to us about how you've improved your manufacturing processes, ensuring that the Xbox One's GPU won't cook itself.

@Rayzakk @JackFlakk Thanks!

Yeah, it is kind of difficult to tell the raw numbers from Amazon's list. I pre-ordered my PS4 after the Sony press conference. The following day, Amazon had split PS4 sales between the Launch Edition (guaranteed delivery on launch day) and the Standard Edition (delivered as Amazon's stock is replenished). Since then, Sony have released additional SKUs with pack-in games and/or PS Plus cards, and have called those "Launch Bundles".

Interesting. Amazon blew through its allotment of Launch Day PS4s in less than two days.

When Sony ramped up PS3 manufacturing, they had to deal with the double whammy of laser diode and Cell processor shortages. What's the hold-up this time? Surely it's not the processor, memory, or disks. None of those components used by the PS4 are exactly exotic these days. Maybe the GPU?

@wickedsc300 Wow. Yes, let's absolutely slam the unemployed in this economy. Let's also restrict the economically disadvantaged from video gaming by taking away inexpensive used copies of games.

If I were to wield your attitude against you, I'd mock you for having a crappy car because it isn't an LFA. "Buy a REAL Lexus!"

I wonder what effect the blowback against Microsoft and its calamitous decisions regarding Xbone will have upon the current console generation? Yesterday, I bought my first PS3 game in eighteen months. Today, I'll be removing all methods of payment from my Xbox Live account. Going forward, I'll be purchasing multi-platform titles on the PS3 instead of the 360.

Have Microsoft inadvertently shortened the lifespan of the 360?

@saadomar90 That works right up to the point where the attach rate is bad because the hardware doesn't sell. No console sales, no game sales.
