A lot of this stuff (magnets, gravity zones) I was expecting to see in Reach. That game did not live up to my expectations. This looks pretty awesome. I might just send in my xbox for repair after being dead for 15 months for this game. Unless they MAKE IT FOR PC.

@Smokescreened84 That would be nice, but I'll bet they'll leave it to modders to fix the game for them and consoles will get screwed again.

@nunoaba Because consoles use a lot more powerful hardware, and games are much more complex to take advantage of it. However I'm still convinced that there's no excuse not to release games for digital distribution on day 1 and charge $40-$45. The point of dd is they don't have to pay for manufacturing the disk/case or give retailers a cut. If they sell dd games for $60 like they do now that money is just extra profit.

@rahl247 Yes, in the interview he said parts of it are authentic. Before the interview no one ever specified what parts are authentic. In fact, they just said the game is authentic. That implies the whole thing should be and McShea was just pointing out that's BS.

@Dieofnv I disagree. They advertize the game as "authentic" and McShea was criticizing them for using regenerating health in the game because it's not authentic by any stretch of the imagination. He may have argued his point poorly, but his argument was perfectly valid.

@JamesP83 I think that was a perfectly legitimate follow up question. With how much they throw around the word "authentic" why is there still regenerating health in non-hardcore? I think the answer is they wanted to make the game more "fun" to appeal to more casual gamers even though that conflicts with their favorite word, "authentic." He didn't want to say that so he just continued blabbering on about how they made this game to let the player 'step into the boots of the soldiers' or whatever.

@MidnightMeteor Let me give a quote from the site I linked.

"Every detail from the sound of the weapons to the landscapes of actual locations inspire the complete Medal of Honor experience."

"Every detail" does not sound like it meant to exclude something as important to an FPS as being injured. And they did say the game is authentic. As I posted above, that happens to be synonymous with "real". Then Goodrich tries to say McShea was the one saying the game is supposed to be real. McShea didn't say "this game is real" either, he said it was advertised as realistic. There's a big difference. They may not have used the word "realistic" but they sure throw around the word "authentic" a lot. Not as big of a difference there.

And apparently anyone who interprets anything differently from you is a troll.

@The_Roland It's happened before. You intentionally made it sound like standard protocol.

@buccomatic Worst excuse in the book for not backing up your comment. I've never heard this before and I don't live under a rock. How is it common knowledge?
