This game isn't terrible. Like the reviewer said, nothing new really. My biggest gripe is shooting while jumping!! If you're using the right stick to shoot which you should be because X only shoots in the direction you're facing, then you can't jump while shooting. It makes you kinda end up doing a run, stop, shoot, run, stop, shoot thing. Instead of running and jumping around blasting stuff!!
This game is listed as a "games with gold" game and I could download it iwithout having xbox live gold. Will I just not be able to play it? The other games with gold games out right now like rainbow six vegas to, only prompt me with the $19.99 button when I go to download it which implies I can't get it free because I don't have gold. So not sure what that means, but people without gold might be able to play this.
It's hard to find a balance. Some people believe graphics are the most important thing and to those people a game that's not that great to begin with can be a good game if it looks beautiful. The same happens on the other end where games with horrible graphics can get good ratings if they are amazing games. I LOVE games that push the benchmark for graphics but I have also had an insane amount of fun with games like Terraria, and 8 bit xbox live indie games. I don't know about everyone else but I would rather sacrifice a small amount of graphic performance to have an incredible gaming experience. A game doesn't get far if it looks amazing but is pushed out early and has a ton of bugs and is unplayable.
@Slash_out Am I the only one that went WWWHAAATTT?!?!? when they said god of war is trying to capture magic that's been long dried up? I just bought the ps3 2 game collection with the psp ones because I never played those 2 and played all 5 in order of story line and plan on doing it again. and was almost in tears when I though God of war 3 was the last one. Look at how many assasins creeds are out there. God of War works. and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'll keep buying each one till the day I die
I don't think you're lying. but maybe exaggerating? My buddy used to buy tons of games and NEVER ever sold any. I always sold old games like all my gamecube stuff to buy a wii. Then I missed Gamecube so I bought one 4 years later and a bunch of games again. same with most my systems. If you really own that many I would like to see a list just to see what good ones i'm missing but I would NEVER ask someone to type out that list lol
@lunima530 Seriously 10,000+ games? I kid but as someone who currently owns every console down to SNES (minus dreamcast) and has owned every handheld, and has a very high end PC. I couldn't have put that better myself I like that I can only do this one this system and that on that one. If they all become the same where's the originality. why not then just all combine to 1 mega corporation that puts out the same crap.
