Not entirely sure I agree. Yes to games having to be less pricey (£60 is fairly steep off a manufacturers website) but not sure about the rest. I don't think app games are ever going to replace console / PC games. They exist, yes, but people pay cheap amounts knowing they'll get a cheap product. They don't go buying app games thinking it will be a 30 hour extravaganza. Gamers aren't stupid, they know why they buy these things. Also the physical HD thing doesn't make much sense to me either. I think he's just a little bias is all.

Violent games a negative influence on young people, says CA Senator who has never touched a console in her life. Meanwhile poverty, created by poor budgeting and government expenditure, continues to generate crime at an alarming rate, along with wars, selling of arms, diminishing policing....

I'd say Senators were greater culprits in that case.

Of course, the irony is Gamespot has BF4 adverts splashed all over their site.

@thorn3000 @Valen_Ca That's a pity. KoA was an unsung bit of gold that really deserved to do well.

Actually, I'd love to see Gamespot run a poll: Would you use Origin if EA games were available on Steam and other sites? We could present the true figures to Mr Moore.

Is this the same EA who turned BF episodic with DLC and then had the gall to advertise BF4 the same week people finally got their final 'bit' of the game? The most money grabbing bastards in the gaming industry? A company so into money over anything else that it released it's own platform through which people must purchase their games so that they could keep the prices up when most other games would have come down considerably? They wreck games, released unfinished products, appear to have little to no support for their fans, ruin releases with shoddy servers and then still have the cheek to ask for more money in a smiley 'Hey, we're great aren't we?' way? I mean seriously, if this guy doesn't know how bad his company is then he shouldn't be running it in the first place (and answers why EA suck).

@LesserAngel I should imagine the answer to B is you'd push the Options button, since Start has been nothing but an options button for some time rather than a means of starting the majority of games.

I still enjoy BF3 on PC (note, said PC, not consoles, because at least we knew what the main series games were like and how single player was NOT a thing with them). I'm really not keen on the whole BF4 thing coming out if I'm honest. I felt it was almost rude to still be waiting for the DLC just a few months ago while hearing EA were starting BF4 beta testing soon. It makes you think 'excuse me, why the hell are you planning the next game when you and us players aren't finished with 3 yet?" Needless to say, if 4 comes out this year, I won't be buying it. Maybe end of next year and I'll consider it. This is BF, not MW.
