Good. Shall wait til Tuesday then before playing the game to the end. Been holding back in readiness for this because of all the negative comments puting me off. Now I can play it with the extra bits added and make my own mind up instead.

I like it. Breaks up the open combat maps with some tight maps that feel truly satisfying to anyone that has worked in an office block or hotel. It is chaotic but then that's half the fun and if you play in a four man squad covering one another it can be pretty gratifying. Lag can be a bit quirky especially with a small map and 32 people, leading to direct shots to the head and chest taking no damage off the opposition or falling down dead when you've run round a corner because the guy shot you 2 seconds ago. But otherwise an enjoyable little add on. It forces you to think even faster on your feet and yet still manages to not wind up boring or overpowered like Modern Warfare manages.

We're starting to mix violence with an adolecent approach to sexuality? Did he not play Duke Nukem before or something? And games like Splatterhouse were popular over 20 years ago due to its gore and violence. It's not fetishizing really. Humans are by nature violent, it's only the clamps of society that leash people into being otherwise.

Looks like a fun game and am a fan of the 'phasing' style of world change. I just hope I don't have to interact with people I don't know that often. MMO's are fun but after years of playing I've really come to dislike a vast amount of players and certain gamer achetypes.

If it wasn't for the online part, this game would be highly enjoyable. I won't lie, I'm actually fearful of playing Hardcore mode as there's no telling if the connectivity is going to sustain the attempt for me (I'm on WiFi, it isn't happy at the best of times). Once in the game though, ir's very consuming and you never really feel bored. Also enjoy the power customisation where you can select what feels best to you. Good fun, exactly what I ask for in a game.

@Occultimate Oh, I should add that if there is only one answer as is the case with perfect builds, then everything becomes the same without deviation. Nice speech though. A little long winded for my tastes but then we can't all be individuals like your esteemed yourself.

@Occultimate Really? I play games for entertainment myself. Have done for the past 30 years. You buckle on and make your headstrong decisions and get somewhere (like a Gamespot comments section, go you), I'm quite content to cruise along and be content to live.

Bloody hell, that's engrossing. People are comparing to GTA but I'm already preferring it as at least it doesn't set out to be funny. Instead it appears to be a cyberpunk dream, slick and edgy. Really hope it continues to be this good (and that there's a shedload of content to be plundered).

Considering Bioschock is based 60-70 years later and is an FPS rather than a stealth killing game, think you might be rather incorrect about it being a 'copy'.
