It all sounds quite friendly and helps push indie games as well as Origin, but this is EA....so what's the catch? I'm sure we'll find out in time to come.
Nothing wrong with MP, but it really isn't all that necessary. In fact, I find myself growing increasingly annoyed with some games because of their MP mode. Some games are single player, some are not. MP sometimes just feels like something cheap and nasty added to a game just for the sake of appealing to a certain crowed. I don't really think the Uncharted MP was all that necessary for example. Would enjoy more split screen co-op games though so I can play with my friends in the SAME bloody house for once.
@weaslerz Little did we know, they actually purchased season tickets for all apocalyptic events. They also receive a monthly news letter called "Armageddon Out Of Here" which has insightful articles such as 'How to roast your barbarians' and '100 great ideas for decorating your cranial horns'.
F#ck sake! I check out the vid as I'm intrigued despite my slow browser and have to put up with ANOTHER trailer for the game which lasts ages, can't be skipped and is on every sodding video we click on. Rockstar must be paying you big money in order for your marketing to be so bloody annoying. GO AWAY MP3 ADVERT!
@waffles89 I can but hope. That would be a nice addition. Can at least avoid the god awful chat elements. Been playing single and MMO's waayyyy too long to be healthy. There's way too many elements that no developer can control that is provided by a gaming community. Turning off the chat would be one step in the right direction.
Looking like everything I love about the Hitman series. Storyline was lovely and all, but can't say I ever played it for the cut scenes. Was always about the sneakiest kills and getting away from the location scott free with no one any the wiser that you had been there.
Game might be awesome, but it won't change one simple fact; Elder Scrolls has always been about immersion. You can't control the idiots who will troll, shout 'lol' or be elitist idiots in an MMO unless you remove all ability to speak to one another. It's not the game I worry about, it's the fact my experience will be opened up to anyone and everyone.Give me a multiplayer option so I can explore with some friends, not a MMO.
