Id say try craigslist, or just bite the bullet and use ebay. If you get to the point of wanting to pitch them, you may want to see if anyone will buy a few and pay to have you ship them.

I bought I ASUS EEEPC a few weeks ago to use while I travel. I chose a netbook over a laptop because I wanted something really small and with great battery life. I sometime have to program machines at work when I travel and I may be out in the boonies with no available power outlet and I need the battery to last. Sure you arent going to be able to play new games, but thats what I have a desktop for. I have Fallout 1,2, C&C 1st Decade and a few other games loaded on it. I used a 8GB flash drive to transfer ISOs to my netbook and then use Dameon tools. The police arent going to come after you for that, its just like ripping an Audio CD to iTunes.

Im planning on buying a iogear bluetooth adapter so I can use my wii remote on my pc. I mainly wanna use it for my N64 emulator and other games that are not good with the mouse/keyboard.

Is this adapter compatible with the wii remoteand the nunchuck? and how well does the motion sensing work?

How do you pan on incorporating the sensor bar into all of this? Just a blutooth revceiver alone wont do the job.

[QUOTE="CrazyFox_444"]i got random Download speed between 0.1% KB/S - 33.0 KB/S on the games i download, all the time!!! i tested my connection at several internet pages were its 1500 KB/S Download and 750 KB/S Upload... so what the heck is wrong with steam?Johnny_Rock

That's not very good. I just tested mine and it was 9878 KB/S down, 1785 KB/S up. Are you on dialup?

Wow 33.0KB/sec would be badass on dialup, no to mention 1500KB

[QUOTE="lucky326"]It will eat them alive, there was really no point even asking. Non of those games are anywhere near games such as Crysis, Farcry 2 ect and it could probably handle those on medium settings.scriptwrite
So I'll have no problems with this computer then? What kind of framerate do you think I would be looking at?

More than what will matter. Youre not gonna be able to tell the difference at anything greater than 60fps.

Theres not a whole lot you can do as far as upgrading it, youre pretty much stuck. Alot of people are gonna tell you that theres no such thing as a gaming laptop, and theyre right. To play games well you need a powerful videocard, and their big. They dont fit into laptops. Thats why laptops come with "mobile" versions of the chipset, their smaller, but they just wont perform as well.

[QUOTE="Greyfeld"][QUOTE="October_Tide"]

You mentioned WOW

/Thread fails.

ShotGunBunny

Hate WoW as much as you want, no other game in history can boast an 11 million subscription base.

11 million no lifers who can't get off their arse and find a decent game to play, true. But on topic: You could have just said either Fallout 2 or Baldur's Gate 2 to prove your point, ya know. :) /fanboyism........but it's true!

How can you bash WoW when your xfire says youve played it for over 270 hours? Sure thats not a whole lot by WoW standards.... but thats still like 10 DAYS.

[QUOTE="colts99"]The PC version is not that good compard to the ps versionGreyfeld

i don't really understand why people would think the PC one is worse... it's not like the graphics could possibly get worse by going from console to PC.

Graphics were the same, but the whole game was controlled by the numpad. Its was kinda funky.
