Maybe Reverend Graham should just do some research. There ARE studies on this tiresome subject. There is no reason to pay for another one. Didn't the government do that like 2 months ago???
Well, a few things. Everything that happened INSIDE the Animus I thought was fantastic! The current day stuff didnt do it for me. Not only has Desmond's story been drug along for too long, but the very last scene... that was beyond annoying. The only reason I didnt walk away from it was becaus as I was getting out of my seat Desmond touched that thing and it ended. I was actually getting up to leave. Those to space ghost chicks arguing... cmon.
The combat has always been dull for me.
As for why I really like it, well I'm not a proud enough American to have that "'MURICA!" mentality, so it's not that. It was the execution of Connor's story. He was expertly acted, everyone was really, the relationships between the characters was great, the first civilization stuff was kept to a minimum, and the way they tackled the politics was provoking in some ways. I liked it a lot.
But again, this is all INSIDE the Animus, and also I only finished it yesterday, on 2.3, so there weren't many bugs.
@rmartinezdl I thought Connor was the best. Aside from what happened outside the Animus, AC3 is the strongest in the series. Other than AC2, which I still hold dear despite Ubisofts seeming lack of care, no other entry holds a candle.
@Slim_Lyrics I just finished AC3 last night and Revelations a few weeks ago(I'm behind on all the games I have purchased over the past two years because of personal opportunity). AC Rev was weak and uninspired. AC3 was amazing, aside from the Desmond stuff. The series has become convoluted and milked for its worth. I am also done. Especially with the possible leak of AC5 already in the works... comon Ubisoft... take a break! You're Capcom-ing yourselves.
I do, however, see this game being very successful, seeing as how it will be a launch title for next gen.
I agree with him completely. The dilemma we have is that video games are not as widely accessible to everyone as other mediums are. We as "gamers" need to make more valid points and arguments if and when we talk about games in this way.
