I'm feeling the same way too at those parts. I'm kind of like, "wtf??" Not really scary just surprising.Tbh I'm beginning to enjoy it more now that more weapons are available, but yea it'd be great to see more variety in the environments. And I thought Halo CE's Library was bad. On a side note, playing this makes me want to install Max Payne 2RekuntaYou're forgetting the time period a bit I think. When FEAR came out it was quite revolutionary as being a fps/horror hybrid. The fact that you're not as scared is simply because you've seen different stuff to compare it to.

So far there's only been 2 instances where i've been so extremely pissed I could throw my controller through the tv :D Killzone 2 on hardest difficulty at the final level (the Radec part) and definately some bosses in Devil May Cry 4 on the hardest difficulty. Oh and come to think of it I could rage quite impressively at Ninja Gaiden on Xbox back in the day as well.
Nah I hardly ever cheat, and IF I decide to cheat it's always the second or third run through, never the first run.
Although I must say I did cheat a couple of days ago since I had installed a new mod for New Vegas and I didn't feel like dieing on the way there. But that's a rarity.
Depends if you are talking about the SR2 PC version, if so, leave it and never look back. Such an aweful port I wonder why they released it in the first place. But if you have a choice of getting it on consoles, definately pick it over JC2 imo. JC2 is a great game, HUGE map, nice graphics but ultimately it started to feel stale after some time. Very shallow game if you ask me. You basically do the same thing from beginning to end which is quite a shame given the potential of it all. Still, laming around with the grapling hook can be lots of fun.
SR on the other hand is just plain fun. The game is ridiculously over the top and the customizable options border on insane. And if you decide to go for some kind of fat chinese clown you will always see your character rendered like that in the movies which adds to the humor. It has it's flaws but the game is still a very succesful urban freeroaming game.
I always play 1 MMORPG at a time, since it already consumes a lot of time to get a decent character started. Besides I always like to get immersed in the particular game world as much as possible, which is harder if you play 2 different MMORPGS at the same time.
What keeps me going forward is ofcourse the fun I have while playing the game, as well as the community. But also to achieve certain goals I've set for myself. For example to get a full high end armor set, or something else like getting 2-3 classes at max level etc.
Boy I love NES graphics, such a laaarge toothbrush! ;p
I just finished Fallout 3 yesterday and yeah it's a great game (even though I modded the hell out of it, mostly cosmetic though nothing game-changing) and plan to start NV soon enough. Already have the game patched and ready to go just don't feel like it yet.
Anyway, I'd say... well.. Mass effect and DA:O aren't free roam so to compare them equally is a bit hard. Imo storywise ME > DA > FO 3. But gameplay wise I think i'll put it more like FO > DA > ME. The world is very big and immersive with many quests and npc's to be found and it's nice that you can just carve your own path through the wastes. You can literally decide if someone lives or dies, and that can have some nice consequences.
This is the dumbest thing ever. There goes online video guides! Not to mention all the funny glitches and stuff people upload.GAMESHARQ
Yes that and everything else that involves copyright so that includes songs, movies etc etc. I can't believe this ridiculousness, the consequences would be massive. I'm not that familiar with the US law system so I'm not sure if theres even a reasonable chance this could succeed, let's hope not.
Here is another good movie about the subject: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib7-vSrp6y8
