Are they really making a Jason Vorheese game?

Haven't heard anything about it. But that would be kinda a dumb game wouldn't it? Or at least very short?

That's what I thought when I first found out they were making a Mortal Kombat vs DC game.
"well, that'll be easy, just pick superman." :]
But then they made him suck somehow, so there is hope for this Jason game yet!

I highly doubt it, but if there was going to be, and it was done right, you could be looking at a similar premise to Manhunt games. Stealth and violent executions. Would be awesome.

Actually the first Friday the 13th game I believe was on c64. It was fairly well made for its time and from what I remember each time Jason would kill someone there would be a gory picture flashed on screen. Jason also dressed up like one of the characters, so you had to go around knifing everyone until you found out who Jason was dressed like. Look it up on youtube!

I also remember there was a time that they were making a Nightmare on Elm Street video game where you played as Freddy. I remember being pretty young and a friend had put up the poster of upcoming games that came in the box when you bought a NIntendo system andf the Nightmare on Elm Street game was one of them..it said something like You aren't going to kill Freddy because you are Freddy. There was an uproar from parent groups about children playing a s mass murderer and the game was squashed...those people would have a heart attack if they saw the games out now.

yeah its called manhunt and it came out on the ps2
