I beat that game a long time ago but the "thing" that attacked Issac was the woman he was looking for throughout the game (cant remember her name).

Great game...

That would make it a NO-Go for the PSP-Go....

Thats like replacing your 360/PS3 for a new model without the optical drive and getting the "oh well" by MS/Sony...

No thanks....

Again it feels like Sony is missing the ball? What is going on? I hear nothing about the "SONY MOTION CONTROLLER", I mean cant they come up with a name already?

PrimusGears
Sorry man but Sony and its fans need to understand its days of gaming domination are over. No longer can Sony simply make an announcement and have to industry foaming at the mouth. If Sony wants to make a splash, they need to show and prove they have the goods. That hearsay stuff is obsolete in this gen, the industry wants constant updates of info about the device, its benefits, and anything else related to the technology. Game On....

[QUOTE="Pinkyimp"][QUOTE="Nonstop-Madness"]The normal consumer could careless what system has the slightly better version of the game. Jfisch93

This, but you see we are not the average consumer, we know the differences websites point out when comparing games. and even then the differences are so small you can just avoid them. The whole "PS3 sucks for multiplat's" thing is old, the only differences are usually cosmetic.

Yes, I find it really funny when the only differences must be seen with a magnifying glass. Quite a lame arguement, really.

Sorry but not all of the differences are simply nitpicking....Not all the titles have small differences where only Columbo or a rabid fanboy can find them (RE5, Burnout, SF4). The majority of multiplats are downright horrible on the PS3 in terms of textures, framerates, loading times, features, etc. etc (too many to list). For gamers such as myself with all three systems its no biggie, just buy the superior version, but for the monoconsolites, they immediately go into damage control about "its not that big of a deal". Sorry it is that big of a deal, you are paying the same price for a title with things missing from it but packaged as a complete port. Game On...

I agree with the article 100%... I only have a PS3 for its exclusives, nothing else warrants my attention for the system. When I play a game I want to play the version of the title that best represents the vision of the dev....In 98.5% of multiplats are fully realized on the 360, not the PS3.

IMO this is the best way for me to appreciate my PS3 is to enjoy it for what it does best, PS3 exclusive games.

It has probably been said, but IMO Prototype didnt get its AAA is because it is a multiplat title. If it was exclusive to the 360 it would have gotten its score because the industry (gamers, reviewers, etc etc) love the ideal that a title was created specifically for one piece of hardware. Once a title is multiplat, the hype for the game drops off the map.

On the opposite Infamous got its AAA because it is a Sony exclusive. You cant poke holes in the game like you would with a multiplat title because there is no performance benchmark besides the PS3. You cant compare textures, framerates, AA, load times or anything else because this title in only on one system. In an isolated environment, a good game seems great under these conditions.

Oh well thats my two cents...both games are equally good IMO!!!

Where is all the Apple system hate coming fromStevo_the_gamer

The fact that if you're buying an Apple, you're paying way too much money for an inferior system.

That is your opinion, not a fact....I can respect someone's opinion, but when passed off as fact is when I raise the BS flag. Game On...

i dont get all the hate for this game. most of it seems to be because Max is older and because some of it takes place during the daytime. honestly if Max had looked like he did in the first 2 games i would have no interest at all. basically because he looked like a straight up dork. a skinny assed lightweight. this Max looks like hed break you in two if you looked at him wrong. and i have no problem with a change of location. you know it gets dark in other cities besides New York right? and there are slums and ghettoes everywhere so im sure we,ll get some gritty city action. and yes the Noir genre is not limited to dark city environments. like the guy said earlier Brick is a Noir film and it takes place in a high school. its more about the feel and tone of the story not the location

Where is all the Apple system hate coming from? I doubt its from people who actually own a Apple system (other than ipods). Until you use the system for WORK, you have no idea what you are missing in terms of functionaity and security. But hey, when in doubt with a Windows box, rebuild!!!
