@gimpinabox I agree. The copy/paste games of CoD, Halo, Gears, and Assassin's Creed are always getting high marks and high review scores for being the same game over and over again every year. So her review contradicts the latter.
the problem was they started a PayPal on their site which reached about 200k. They stopped that funding to do Kickstarter, which reached I believe 100k+ but cancelled it. Then they come back with another Kickstarter and only reach 300k+. Seems like to me the PayPal on their site was getting more attention and at least they can keep all those "donations". Instead they refunded everyone then went to Kickstarter twice and lost. Very confusing on their part. I like the concept and demo of the game but just poor management. They had the PR from IGN and Gamespot. Kickstarter is not a reliable crowd.
@zintarr Was that at Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, FL? I ask b/c that mall had a Gamestop and an EB Games store. Then the EB became Gamestop so two stores in one mall.
@gsbliss @Evan0605 I meant the punishment system. I played an advanced copy and played the original a week ago to get ready for the new one. It all seems fine to me.
So, in other words, your entire review can be summed up: "Ducktales on Nes is one of my favorite games of all time. The remake makes the game harder, longer, adds cutscenes fully voiced by the original cast, and I hate it because it isn't identical to the NES game!"
