I think the patches since launch for the standard game are worth noting too in the review. Paragon points, and the new way the enemies scale, aren't 'new' to reaper of souls, but they carry over, and are relevant to all the folks who haven't played in a year or since launch.
@ianpac @MrYaotubo "Cannot identify with characters since we never see them or interact with them" What? I know of about a few million harry potter fans who would disagree with that statement. ...or any one that has loved a book they read.
oh. of course its the same people making it... third times the charm maybe. ...and seriously, the writing in DI... You guys need to step it up a notch this time around if you want more people sold.
I cant help but be reminded of Dead island. And I only enjoyed the game because I never got tired of meleeing zombies heads off with blunt weapons lol. But that wasn't the case for most people and dead island was a let down for most of my friends. But who knows, maybe this will deliver on all its ambition. Good luck indeed. (the parkour looks fun. The writing seems derivative and not very heart wrenching or exciting. You guys need good writers if you want to pull off the emotional part!)
