My rig is like 5 or 6 years old, i had to resort to ps3 to play ff14 because on my pc it is below recommended settings :P

Hm, still would be more interested in a remote streaming option.

It's only a problem on the long term, how long till opengl/Mantle prove themselves better than Directx? I believe that will happen, but it might be deep into the console lifespawn.

Until then DirectX is still superior, and maybe by the time it is not anymore then SteamOS might be the place to be at :)
