@Dordledum honestly, you should play AC2 - still the best AC game imo, brotherhood was also great and revelations was ok. AC3 wasnt good enough to keep me playing, but black flag is pretty awesome right now.

@RAD_RADIO actually, there are rules in this game. choosing one decision has a consequence, which in turn is reflected in the events that you become a part of in the game. and about losing, let's take the last of us as an example - you can die in any number of ways (lose), but you are immediately transported to the last checkpoint. let's say these 10 seconds of 'die and load screen' did not exist, would you define it as something else other than a game then? in essence, the last of us only has one ending, you can not avoid this ending, it will be there when you finish the game.

also, david cage is not saying that the games industry should only consist of beyond: two souls-type games. he is saying that it can expand, and it should.

@moonlightwolf01 @Sun-Tzu-GE it's funny because in the above interview i don't see him claiming anthing like that at all. this game is different, and if you've played heavy rain then you would know that. i play a lot of games and heavy rain was its own thing, never played anything like it. i dont understand why people believe that he believes that his games are the only games out there that bring forth a meaningful story. he doesnt say that, he's never said that.

the responses you get toward beyond: two souls is enough evidence that gamers see this game as a strange thing. this is exactly the point that he's making, that he made this different game together with many others, and it is storytelling in its own right, and that was his focus. again, he does not claim it to be the only game ever made that brings forth a meaningful story. give me one line that proves otherwise.

@xkurupt718x games have more of a role then ever in the world of today, besides just being something you can play. they have messages to bring across and they can influence belief. i think it's definitely worth mentioning when people feel uncomfortable playing a game - we can't just pretend it's not happening. if we continue to do so, we're just turning ourselves into ignorant, unintelligent human beings who don't give a shit about other people.

so this is my advise to you: face the facts, and widen your understanding of our current gaming world (if you want to continue to live in it peacefully).

If I had kids, I would get this for them. I know I would have loved it.

How is it that nobody thinks Tobey Maguire would be great for the role?

@edinko @canuckbiker watching a game and playing it are extremely different things - i would be bored watching a walkthrough video of the last of us. this game isn't just 'a movie where you press a button occasionally', otherwise i need to get my mind checked because that's certainly not how i played the game.

and yes, heavy rain is a game, because it offers a direct experience through interaction with the game itself. it is not a movie, and i'm up for any kind of game experience as long as that experience is powerful.

@focuspuller @EdotheHero @holtrocks lol, it sucks but it's the truth :P if developers are already troubled with porting games TO the PS3, why wouldn't they be troubled with porting games FROM the PS3? also, Naughty Dog is a Sony-owned studio, so there's probably a lot of legal stuff stopping them, as well.

@Duke_51 @EdotheHero lol i agree, i hope watch dogs doesn't follow the CoD path. but there are other games like rayman origins which isn't a AAA blockbuster title (or am i confused?), and Ubisoft is making a franchise out of it.

hopefully new and inexpensive IPs will become a trend, because the gaming industry today could use more variety - as long as those games have quality, though.
