Try these bands:

Sodom
Kreator
Destruction
Exodus
Death
Venom
Sepultura

There's plenty of other metal bands that you can listen to, I was just listing a few.

Replace Queens Ryche with Slayer and you got yourself a dead even match between all those bands.

I don't see how they ripped you off... FPS_Gamer123

They ripped me off because often when a new game like Far Cry 2 comes out, they should have it for sale on the following Friday, but that wasn't the case this time. (this only applies to GameRush Blockbusters)

Today, I went over to a GameRush Blockbuster nearby where I live to trade in my PSP and purchase Far Cry 2 since games typically arrive at Blockbuster locations on Fridays. But guess what terrible luck did to me today?

They had Far Cry 2 to rent, but not purchase. This made me so mad, since now I have to go on ebay and put up my PSP for auction, wait a whole week for it to accumulate money then have it sold. Which means I have to wait well over a week or 2 before I get Far Cry 2.

I absolutely cannot believe it. I've been anticipating Far Cry 2 for such a long time, but at the very last second, I get ripped off. Oh well, at least I already have Fallout 3 and Gears 2 pre-ordered and those 2 games should keep my enjoyment levels high for a very long time.

But just a warning message:

Do not use Blockbuster to buy games (newly released ones that is). Because they always have games like NBA 2K9 for sale on release day but yet the very one game that I wanted (Far Cry 2), was the only one that wasn't up for sale.

How ironic. The low profile games are always up on release day, but the high profile ones (that come to Blockbuster on Fridays), aren't available immediately.

If it weren't for this thread, I would've never known.

Thank you so much, I already placed my order on it! I never knew that the Darkness would someday come down to $5, I've been waiting for a moment like this for a very long time. (I wanted the Darkness when it first came out but I couldn't afford it so I had to skip it)

Since I've been having such a hard time deciding between either getting Fable 2 or Far Cry 2, and since Gears 2 and Fallout 3 are already locks for my collection, I have no choice but to do a coin flip to decide which game I'll be getting since I'm in a financial problem and can only afford one of these 2.

Do you think doing a coin flip is a wise decision for me deciding between either getting Fable 2 or Fary Cry 2? I'll list what I think are the pros and cons in each game, in my predicted opinions:

Fable 2:

Pros:

-Large amounts of replay value
-Choices of between being good or evil
-Lots of sandbox gameplay, like many RPG's
-Side-quests add on to game length, just as Oblivion did
-Big amount of life****elements, including the dog, etc.

Cons:

-Only a 10 hour main story line
-Might not be as detailed as Oblivion
-Molyneux has made so many broken promises on his games that have caused huge doubts between me and this game

Far Cry 2:

Pros:

-Single-player story of between 25-100 hours
-Amazing engine, includes detailed destructible environments, weather, graphics, and a very large world for sandbox gameplay
-Map Editor. It's one of the most amazing things I have seen, that is one of the reasons why it is hard to pass on this game.
-Includes multiplayer, even though it doesn't exactly look like the greatest thing ever.

Cons:

-Ubisoft has been notorious (at least in my own eyes) for making single player games that don't have very much replay value.
-Story could turn out to be a long boring journey through objective-obsessed missions
-Map editor might disappoint in a few areas
-Multiplayer looks a bit generic and unoriginal

Yes, I know this is everyone's reaction right now, but I'm not really planning on buying Fable 2.

Even though this isn't 100% official as of right now, I won't be buying Fable 2 because I'm extremely low on money and there's 2 other games which I'm looking forward to more, which is Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3. And the big problem is, I only have $30 right now and I simply can't afford enough to buy Fable 2 along with everything else.

I went broke after I pre-ordered Gears 2 a few weeks ago, so that's when this whole problem started. I plan on trading in my PSP and one of my 360 games to get Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3, but if I'm lucky, I might be able to sell my DS on ebay and luckily, I might end up with enough money to get Fable 2 at the end. But this seems unlikely right now, unfortunately.

Fallout 3 I've been looking forward to for a couple of years now, and Far Cry 2's map editor, along with single-player of 40-80 hours in length, and nice multiplayer is irresistable in my own eyes.

Call my decision flawed if you like, but I most likely won't get Fable 2...at launch at least.

But is there anyone here who also isn't getting Fable 2? Vote in the poll and post your response in your reply.
