Gears of war heres some quotes i've heard from little kids
"stop chainsawing noob !!!"
" stop frag tagging noob "
"stop stealing my kills noob "
p00phead
By absolute coincidence, I've heard that exact same quote from a little kid in a match of Gears before when he was getting chainsawed by someone!
Gears of War was, is, and will always be the worst online community that has ever taken place on XBL. Period. So many racists, spoiled children, people who start acting like it's the end of the world when their kill gets "stolen" (I remember one time when I accidentally stole someone's kill then all of the players in the match decided to file a complaint on me. This really did happen, I'm not kidding.)
Halo 3 surprisingly doesn't bring the worst experience to me, even though it gets bad with the little kids sometimes. And GTA4's community is starting to really suck too, so many people on there are like "Oh you're wastin' my time blue!" and whenever I tell some of them to stop being annoying, their response is "*laughs* shut up foo'!!!"
Even though a lot of 360 fanboys are going to start flaming me here in just a second, I'm going to go ahead and state that I think that Nintendo should've done it's best to keep Rare. Why? The only Rare games that appeal to me were classics like Donkey Kong Country (the first one), Banjo Kazooie, etc. (basically, almost everything they've produced on the Nintendo consoles) They also made Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, and Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64 very high quality games, but once Rare got sold to Microsoft, everyting that Rare was well known for went down the drain. And you can also notice that Conker Live and Reloaded was a remake Bad Fur Day, with better graphics and *shudders* censorship. It's like, Microsoft is giving them a bad influence or something.
I don't know really what to say, back when Rare was with Nintendo, they were untouchable when it came to developing quality games, but Microsoft gave Rare a bad rep once they got sold to them (Microsoft).
I'm asking this question because usually, when a extremely hyped game scores below a 9 on GS, I notice a severe outrage breaks out on the forums and I see everyone making death threats and how they're never going to return to GS again, etc. One example of this is Mass Effect, and even I got angry when it scored an 8.5 because I thought it was a lock for a 9.0 and everyone else was angered too.
So how would this community (including System Wars) would react if Gears of War 2 got an 8.5? I would just look at other sites for reviews and still get it no matter what. But, just a fair warning, don't go to System Wars if it gets 8.5, 'cause there are going to be a lot of Sony and Nintendo fanboys going "omg majorflop rofl!!!11!!111!"....
