Scaling in an action game = fine. Scaling in an RPG (where most the point is making yourself steadily stronger, thus making content progressively easier) = completely contrary to the point of the genera It doesn't help matters that most auto-scaling systems are so badly broken then being lower level is actually better than being higher level.

[QUOTE="DerekLoffin"][QUOTE="Bigboi500"]Lots of games sell over 1 million yet I don't see threads about them doing it. What exactly does this have to do with System Wars btw?Bigboi500
Lots of game weren't accused of selling poorly and sold a million, LBP was.

Everybody whines when the talk goes to the sales of the Wii and the response is usually " i can't play sales, why should I care?", well that should apply here too.

There is a difference between those two arguments: 1. One relates to the quality of the games being accused of being bad. 2. One relates to the commercial success of the games being accused of being bad. The counter to 1 is to show that there are good Wii games out there (although it has some teeth as that number of games is rather low). But in any case it's a different counter than the one you'd use for 2. The counter to 2 is to show that it is in fact selling well (which this does).

What a God awful list... I'm shocked at how utterly and completely awful that list is. Usually I quibble with one or two entries on a list, but this one, the entire list is utter trash.

I'm cautiously interested... Still leary due to it being so easily dropped by the last publisher (although that was at least partially due to the merger, so who knows if it meant anything).

[QUOTE="Ibacai"]"Hashimoto: I'd rather they not think of this as a "betrayal" or disappointment. It's not like we're canceling or delaying the PS3 version at all! It's more of an added bonus for 360 fans. We won't be putting them at a disadvantage in any way." Excuse me? That's exactly what you're doing. :|

Exactly. I don't think many PS3 fans would care that much, but when you delay an entire regions release so you can port it and release it to the other system simultaneously, they do thing of it as a betrayal.

I get the same problem on Firefox 3.0.4. Quick reply works, reply doesn't.

Not really, the console makers almost always deny price cuts before they are official.

Because it just isn't that good. It's a decent game, but with far too much reused content (makes me think they were taking a few too many pointers from Halo) and isn't really anything new. I like it and all but GOTY material it is not.

Seeing as Okomi is an action/adventure game, no.
