Unfortunately just posting up like that gets old fast, at least for me. Reaction time + skill always wins in this game. Even if someone plays smart there are plenty of players who play smart and have fast reaction times who will constantly rip them apart even if they sit in a location. But unless a player is going to just quit playing they have to find some way to make it fun for themselves. If that takes posting up somewhere to get kills then do it. I'd personally rather run around even if I die more often just because that is more enjoyable than sitting in corners all day waiting for someone to come looking for me.

The original Unreal multiplayer was my first online experience playing against other people. I loved it. When UT came out I played it a ton. This should be fun.

The problem with Kinect is that it will never do what they promised it would. It's a flawed piece of hardware that still doesn't pick up motions or voices well enough to be useful to everyone for gaming. It's nothing like what they attempted to demonstrate on stage where everything worked flawlessly which we all know was staged anyway. I enjoyed the voice commands for Skyrim on the 360 and that was the only use I ever had for it.

The second problem is that very few quality games actually make any use of it. Without that there is no real reason to have it. Voice commands in menus is nice but that could have been easily built right into the console. The PS4 allows you to use its voice commands via your mic if you have one hooked up. No need for the Eye Camera. Microsoft should have done the same since the biggest reason anyone wants the Kinect right now is the voice commands. Stop trying to rip people off with unnecessary hardware and make your main device more feature rich instead.

There's nothing wrong with the ideas behind the Kinect. It's the execution of the product that has caused it to be less than it was supposed to be.

All of the original Thief games were amazing. The first two were perfect examples of the fact that graphics aren't everything in gaming. The story in each game was interesting and led up to a fantastic conclusion in Thief 3. Garrett is definitely one of the most memorable protagonists in gaming history. I still have copies of the original PC versions.

Will definitely purchase this and play through it again on the PS4. Really enjoyed it on the PS3 and it will be nice to see how they improve it. Had planned on playing through it again at some point anyway.

Damn, I thought it looked great on the PS3. Enhancing it is going to make it really amazing. I might have to play through this again just to see the changes, if this is actually true.

The technology is definitely there and with all I've seen of the Rift I don't see this new VR push as a gimmick. Sony also looks like they have done a really good job with their new product. But it really boils down to the connection between the developers and the hardware makers. The hardware can be outstanding but if developers don't create products that work correctly with the hardware then it's never going to take off. The easier the hardware ties into the system, the easier it is to convert games to that format, the more likely we will see developers willing to work towards that goal. I hope it happens. I really feel that some form of VR is where gaming is headed. I personally can't wait to enter worlds in this fashion and to be able to look around and feel more like I'm there. Most games could benefit greatly from this type of visual experience. I hope it happens, but if the developers won't get behind it there won't be enough reason for gamers to buy into it. It's a tricky spot for everyone involved and there is a lot of risk at the beginning but I feel if the hardware is put together correctly it will be something everyone will want to experience. It definitely has the potential to change the way we game forever.

Jess should have made a serious face to match the characters behind her.

@Uncle_Rell I've really enjoyed BF4 enough to have over 100 hours into it now. But I will say the crashes are particularly annoying. I've had quite a few now and it doesn't make me happy especially when it happens at the end of a long conquest match that was about to wrap up. I've had two crashes over the last two days alone.

The sound constantly dropping out has also been a major issue for me and that is also still happening.

Also a lot of how the game plays for people is dependent on their favorite game type with Conquest having the most issues. People who don't play Conquest are probably not seeing the same number of issues as those who do.
