Personally I think Nintendo will release just one game themselfs at launch, Pikmin 3, and will instead try and promote the console itself and show off there 3rd party games like Darksiders 2, Batman: Arkham City and everything else they manage to get.Anyway, that my thoughts, what about you guys?spike6958
I don't think Nintendo will rely on 3rd party dev and only release one game. Its Nintendo games that sell Nintendo consoles and they will have to keep their core audience happy with games that can't be played elsewhere. A game like Pikmin isn't a system seller and it wouldn't be wise for them to pick all their eggs in that basket. I think (and I'm actually surprised it hasn't been mentioned already) we will see a new Mario Kart at or around launch. Its time for a new one and Nintendo will use it to showcase their new online without friendcodes and all the fancy new features of the Wii U, MKWii has proven to be a system seller as well as an excellent bridge title and I think Nintendo would be smart to capitalize on that.
I also have a feeling that Animal Crossing will be a 1st party launch title, this is a game that will really take advantage of the table controller. With Animal Crossing 3DS releasing this summer (apparently) I think we will see a tie in between those two games.
