Clearly this Owner doesn't want to make any money. I don't care what type of person you are, if you have the money to spend at my joint, then welcome.

The last thing you need is racist assholes at your place of business. Especially if they decide to make a scene and run off at the mouth because of the gay couple trying to enjoy dinner.

I figure many who wear the maga hats do so to try and trigger other people, and that seems to work. So i'm less inclined to think the guy with the hat will run off at the mouth to the gay couple near them, but rather hoping the gay couple will do that to them instead.

Would be good if people wouldn't feed the trolls, as well.

I agree that anyone who wishes to die should be legally allowed to do so. It's a shit show now across the spectrum when it comes to dying with dignity from physical ailments/pain. I'm going to figure it'll be even more of one for mental health.

Just open a facility and do it that way? Clear and Cut? If not, and guidelines are needed cause of "influences" and all that, then how is it going to be any better than the issues with diagnosing and treatment of mental health ailments already?

I also vote for the Futurama suicide booths.

I think she should be banned from the debate. She has no place in the Democratic party, someone like her would be better suited as Trump's running mate.

Getting a wee bit extreme aren't we?

@CreasianDevaili: or it just points out how dumb the wall is and pointless the wall is.

Which can be used for multiple sides of the argument, which isn't exactly healthy for progress. I think some of you are getting a bit too comfortable again, so you wanna play a little. But at least to me I think the situation is rather serious and nearly everyone has given a toddler what they wanted so they would just be quiet at some point or another.

I just don't think you should be playing gotcha, just yet.

@CreasianDevaili: again. Ask trump . he is the cause of it.

But we're all a player in the ring, regardless. We both agree trump is a big baby and is trying to get his way. Seemingly a larger amount of voters currently agree with that as well, so 2020 is a shoe in to get Trump out of office? So according to you he's being a dick with an issue that will be instantly reversed within two years, which means other than where the fence is already up not much will be changed.

So give him the wall if it's not a real threat. If it is a threat, then what was the point of saying it isn't one?

It's a threat to the eco system and it increases spending at a time when he gifted his buddies less tax.....ie decreased revenue.

None of which we are in disagreement of. My point is that this type of thread is counterproductive. In many ways it feels like the same idiocy of everyone saying how Trump didn't have a chance, or even Brexit. I fail to see the worth in trying to make something that is a threat out to not be one.

According to the OP, the wall wouldn't be able to do anything in the time left and be easily rectified later, along with further supporting replies to that affect. Wouldn't that kind of mentality actually encourage people on the fence to say just give him the damn wall instead because it's not worth it over something trivial?

Isn't this the same kind of crap that Acosta got wrapped up in just recently?

@CreasianDevaili: blame trump for that. He vetoed the republicans bill to pay for the government before the new year. He said it homself this is his shutdown.

He can say what he wants but there are more people/entities/sides than just Trump and Co. I'm just saying if it's such a non issue why do you think it's worth a partial government shutdown over?

it's not really a "non-issue" politically speaking. and prior to the shutdown the Senate passed a CR (that included border security funding) but the House wouldn't bring it to a vote because the President wasn't going to sign it. Now, as I understand it, the House has passed that same CR sending it to the Senate, but Mitch McConnell won't bring it to a vote because the president wont sign it. So it would seem Trump is a bit of a sticking point, because he doesn't want to look like he's caving on a big component of his original campaign...and because Anne Coulter was mean on twitter

I know it's not a "non-issue". I'm just baffled by the threads such as these, and the news articles and segments, that all seem to bash their own heads against the wall. If something is worth causing so many to go without pay and cost those who get help with their food to do without said help, the last thing I'd wanna broadcast is that "it doesn't even matter!".

Seems batshit insane, to me.

Do you guy's understand the if approved the wall would take decades to build and that the next president easily cancel the project?

So then why is this worth causing a partial shutdown over? It's either a end of the world, must take a stand to the very end no matter what or it's all for show. I don't care about the wall, whether it is built or not, because I do understand that it's a trivial matter when you get down to it. What isn't trivial is that some services for people's food might get disrupted. I'm not on food stamps but I do know what it's like to go hungry, so I do hope this hill is worth dying on for some of you.

Eh, sure. The Hill, Huffpost, Fox news, and politico have never had such vibrant comment sections. Hell the first comment on either the hill or politico when Michelle Obama beat Clinton for top female favorite was about trump somehow. He said he'd clean out the swamp but damn the waters are murky all across the damn land lol.

...and the pitbulls are already biting eat other in prep for 2020.

So yeah, I kinda like him, but I also have hope by his example we will get someone much better than anything we saw in 2016 no matter the party.

It's kind of like how I don't want him impeached, but voted out in 2020. I don't really think Trump beating Trump is better than voting him out in a slam dunk across the popular and EC, since I think the first will just open up a door for someone worse. I mean if he can achieve all this while being the "dumbest human being in history" then I wonder what it be like if someone a little more calculating took over while riding on the same notes.

Dick Cheney 2020!
