@otaviogalileu Lucky though, I have to wait until the 1st of Feb. :/

But from what I could tell from the demo, you get to control your characters in the field, whilst in the Persona series you can't. But yeah there are some similarities aside from that.

@Kabbalistica Yeah I think the Pokemon similarity mostly has to do with the monster taming and turn-based mechanics. It's similar to FFXIII-2 in a way, but here you get to control your monsters whereas in XIII-2 they were all AI. So there's more of a parallel in NNK with Pokemon than in XIII-2.

@antiloop2006 It has similarities to typical JRPGs like the old FFs, mostly the things that Kabbalistica mentioned. But battle is more of a turn-based system mixed with Tales series elements? Still not really accurate. I don't know, I think it's pretty unique. Hard to compare.

@Kabbalistica Yep, a very long time. I can't wait to get it as early as I can in the morning and spend the rest of the day curled up in bed playing this gem. lol

Haven't felt this excited for a game in a long time. :)

I can't wait to pick this up. Europe was already getting it after the US, on the 25th, but it got delayed by another week.. It's torture. Been waiting for this for about 2 years now.

@RagingBoner254 Your recurrent use of insults towards others is a clear sign of how immature you are. You should restrain yourself if you don't want people to completely disregard your ability to argue. You're in luck that I can see past that and still evaluate what you write with a clear mind (unlike you).

Listen, I've been a huge Final Fantasy fan since I was a kid. Final Fantasy XIII was pretty disappointing to me, but you know what? I'm an adult and I understand that I chose to spend money on it. It was MY decision. Mostly because it was a Final Fantasy game, yes, but while I don't necessarily like some of the changes the developers made, I accept their choice to make it. Do I think they made the game like it should have been done? No. But I know that they're the developers, they had a creative vision, and they should be able to exercise it.
And whatever designers envision and produce, is usually what they wanted to achieve.

I know of a large number of people that enjoyed Diablo 3, and a large number of people that didn't: that is generally true to every game. You're in the latter group. To you, the game is a piece of shit, for some it isn't. Ultimately, I'm sure Diablo 3 is a good game (although I never played it).

And that ejaculation analogy is so ridiculous I won't even bother to respond. I'll just say that you need to grow up, or make gaming a less stressful and serious hobby.

And in regards to your response below about games not being a gamble, you're wrong. You choose what to spend your money on, if you buy a game you don't enjoy it's your problem. There isn't a single game in the world that had universal appeal. It's impossible, so yes, it's a gamble. And anyone who says otherwise is one of those idiots that think they are entitled to everything the way they like because they work for their money.

@RagingBoner254 I've never seen a more fitting name for a user. You sound like you're having a spazz attack while writing this.

They owe you nothing, fact. It's their IP, they ultimately decide what to do with it. Obviously, they would gain from not pissing off the fans, but hey if they want to take the game a different way, they can and you can't do anything about it. You payed for the game, they never hid anything from you. You got the game they announced. You just didn't like it.

If that generates an infinite wave of whiny, childish, fans (like yourself) then they have to take it. By no means is anyone telling you people not to share your feelings about the game (although I think some people take games too seriously, crazy level).

@Meteor7 How can they owe you something because you "paid for the game". Do you mean to say you didn't get the game? How do they owe you? MeestaPleasta is completely right, they owe you nothing. It's their IP and they ultimately decide what to do with it.

If that generates an infinite wave of whining fans then it's their problem to handle, but they literally owe you nothing except for the game, which you got. Buying games is always a gamble, you may or may not like it.

@moviequest14 @Code-Llama Yes, you are right. In the end it always falls under the parent's responsibilities.
Thinking about it, there isn't a way to effectively control this issue without the parent's cooperation.
Maybe legalizing some kind of penalization would make parents more alert? But then again, there's no way to control the problem, so they'd have nothing to fear.

It saddens me to have to say that you're absolutely right (not because I'm stubborn, but because it is a sad reality). It confuses me how parents can care so little.

@moviequest14 @Code-Llama Tightening ratings would definitely lower the amount of violent media that is in fact used by underage gamers. You used smoking as an example, but facts are that most parents are very strict about not wanting their kids to smoke, so what do kids do? They smoke in hiding somewhere, or they smoke at school, etc. Do you see that as a possibility in gaming? Unless you're talking about a portable device, no it's not possible. The point I'm trying to make is that it would require a very small effort for parents to actually control the issue if they are minimally aware of the ratings. Just browse through your son's collection or watch the games he's playing every now and then. It wouldn't eliminate the problem entirely, but it would have a significant impact, I believe.
