@spartanx169x: I would say FFX. It is one of the best (my personal favorite) of the franchise and it has been remastered in HD recently for PS3/PS4/Vita. The remaster is very well done
You can also grab some oldies such as VII or VIII, which are also amazing. Personally, IX is my least favorite of the PSX era but still really good. Since every game's story is disjoint from the others, you can pretty much grab any of the games and play.
@hs2lee: To be honest, I don't care about whether this game really is bad or not, but she does state that she's well acquainted with the Fatal Frame franchise, she also states that she played the game to completion and spent some extra time snapping ghostly pictures so.. You either judged her from her picture and didn't bother to read the description next to her face or you're doubting her claims. By just looking at your comment, I bet my 5 dollars on the first aforementioned.
@sorintitus It matters because they're service-specific servers (SEN and Live). It's a matter of security.
Granted, it's limiting the experience, and could be solved, but I'm guessing that aside from that security factor, Sony or Microsoft wouldn't like this interoperability. Imagine a scenario where your friend owns a game for XBOX and you want to play it with him. If you could play with him on any platform that runs the game, there's no guarantee you'd go for the xbox.
@ranger1253 @Code-Llama Well, if that is indeed the case, then he should have retracted from commenting in the first place, rather than make a fool out of himself. I would've, if I still cared for Microsoft that is.
I'm sorry but, as much as I respect Molyneux, he clearly has no idea here.
The benefits don't matter: they're great as a supplement, but I want to play games, and I want to be able to play however, whenever, in whatever circumstances I want to. If I choose to play offline, then I don't get access to the online features, it really is that simple. There is absolutely NO REASON (in terms of supposed "benefits") for this requirement. The only reason Microsoft enforces this is to make sure we aren't using any pirated content.
