Sorry, people insulting this particular entry look to be crazy; the open-world elements look so refreshing and i st ill like the main character quite a bit.
@HonorOfGod @destinhpark Someone better eat it :O.
I disagree with this review, i enjoy this Game more then most fps' on consoles, but ign's review was more in line with how i felt about it so meh xD...
@sugarboy79 To be fair, he isn't right about that. You can't maintain any illusions of an extended world without making your mind spin its wheels and start imagining what's out there. You might have imagined cool things in your immediate surroundings on old games, but one level often didn't even flow in to the other - great for stylistic variety, but doesn't do a good job of suggesting 'hey, there's more!' GTA makes you imagine why in the ever loving hell these messed up advertising campaigns work. How cynical and/or gullible you have to be to buy what that cult spoof was shilling back in the first promotional campaigns. How in the heck these cities are considered acceptable enough that you don't have tourist protesters, the army marching in, or sanctions from the rest of the world... As someone who isn't even that in to GTA, when I go on a romp through Orlais in Dragon Age 3, part of what I'll be REALLY obsessing over is the new hints involving Tevinter, Antiva, the Anderfels, Rivain... All of the other places we only ever get suggestions and a couple transplanted characters from. I know they'll probably all get their own stories eventually, but that doesn't spoil the fun I'm having making up my own.
