[QUOTE="DmadFearmonger"]Then no matter how much I disagree your opinion is valid...imaps3fanboy

Please, my BS detector has gone off. There is no way you have takenin all of Radiohead's material. If anything, you'll like "creep" and "no surprises". or maybe "high and dry". Check out the singles.

Creep was ok. Didn't care much for anything else. Thom Yorke pretty much ruins it all for me

Creep wasn't even Radiohead's song.

It was the Hollies from 1974, and I think Thom Yorke apologized to them later on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb7S8-Iewi0

Joy Division was around in 1978, before the new wave-inspired pop bands....so

you're out of your element.

"Out of my element," eh? You do realize that the song you posted sounds just like this one from 1973, making it (and, by extension, the band itself) even less original-sounding than you think.

You guys are all ridiculous. I love The Killers. I love Joy Division. All of that 80's new wave/post punk. I like the revival of it too. The Killers write great pop songs. "Mr Brightside" is undeniable. Joy Division were one of those groups that helped form the "post punk" movement, which led to electronica. All these bands PLAY THE SAME KIND OF ****. Who cares who is "original". The power is in the song. I cry during "atmosphere". But that was 30 years ago. Its time for new music. and Ian Curtis was a crap singer. Rest in peace :(

This song by Joy Division is over 30 years old, yet it still has emotion.

So I disagree with you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BP-LIntM6c

[QUOTE="OrkHammer007"]They sound exactly like all of the other New Wave-inspired pop bands of the mid-80s (examples: Psychadelic Furs, The Fixx, Flock Of Seagulls). What's so special about them?

[QUOTE="bbkkristian"] This, but if you can't wait for the 3DS, then get it.bbkkristian

If a bunch of money magically dropped from the sky I'd get one with OoT straight away, but right now its not worth it. I actually had £200 sitting in my Paypal account waiting to make a pre-order with at least one game. Then I found out the launch price alone was £220 so I spent that money on 7 or 8 amazing used games including MGS4, Demons Souls, Alan Wake and Heavy Rain.

Yeah, it really all depends on the person and their wants and needs. For some, it's too much, for some they will pay it. I payed it but screwed myself because I regret selling some games. :( I probably should've waited.

These are the only titles worth buying for the 3DS right now, but

These are the ones that will be worth it

Why do people make dumb threads like this? The Strokes, The Killers, Bloc party, The Arcade Fire are just a few awesome bands from 2000+. If no one gives new music a chance, then it will fail. Its all of our fault. Give it a chance.

OrkHammer007

The Killers? Try listening to Joy Division

Backwards Compatability. Everyone knows the 3DS has little games right now, but noone ever talks about the slide analog pad. Take Mario 64 DS for instance. It was a pain in the ass to play it with the D-Pad back in the day, but try playing it on the 3DS. It's a major improvement and actually makes the game more enjoyable.

This is not to say the 3DS is too expensive, but it is worth it to buy it right now if you have a large selection of 3D platformers on your original DS.

Just look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaI7wO4CxLY
