You're just older, so you dont accept the music of today. This is your personal opinion of when the music you liked died. Other people like different music, and for them they might think the new age of music is just beginning. ps. Adding "Thoughts?" to a post that belongs in a blog, doesn't make it discussion worthy.Nibroc420

music died in 1997, I did a detailed analysis. Radiohead's "OK Computer" to the Deftones single "My Own Summer" is the main key timeline to when music changed forever.

After 1997, it was Britney Spears, Boy Bands, Nu-Metal & Crap.

You could date grunge back to 1984, when Green River crystalized the scene, but the Melvins formed in 1983. The Melvins never considered themselves grunge, but hard rock like Motorhead. Grunge died in 1996 after Failure's "Fantastic Planet", that was basically the last remenants of it. It wasn't until Radiohead's "OK Computer" came out that things really started to change & then when My Own Summer by Deftones came out, Nu-Metal basically took over the world from 1997-on.

So what happened was, Grunge was pop in the early 90's, then smashing pumpkins and radiohead were like mid-90's & they were basically the last great bands before 1997's downfall.

1997 from all of my research and timeline is when music reached it's full peak with OK Computer and started to spiral waaaaaay down. 1998 is when the Boy Bands, Britney Spears and Nickelback stuff started to form, with Days of the New & Deftones as the leaders. Then Korn & Limp Bizkit nailed the coffin.

Thoughts?

Remember the good ole days of 1992? Good music, and it was right after the Vanilla Ice phase and into the good stuff like Smashing Pumpkins,Tool & Mr. Bungle? Well there was one song that people forgot about over time but it was pretty big back then.

Remember this from `92? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Zan2BqlAmA

[QUOTE="soulitane"]Good for them? :? Also that's 4 years old.soulitane

They're saying the Neo Geo is better than the PS2! It's not like the 360, PS3 or Wii is going change their minds, or anyone's mind for that matter.

Yet again good for them, it's not like their opinion is important to me.

you're on Gamespot's website

I still think the Dawn of the Dead remake was pretty damn good and way better than the originals. I know that is heresy is some circles, and I am a huge fan of the original films, but the remake was just so damn good. It didn't try too hard, it was just a good zombie flick with solid acting and lots of good gore that didnt screw with the plot too much.

Word Love it when they are golfing on the rooftop, hitting golf balls into the crowd of zombies.

that scene was short, they coulda done so much more with the Remake, but it was good.
