Kick ass video! You've rekindled my nostalgia. I wouldn't be the gamer I am today without UT. I, too, will be patiently awaiting what will be another leaping milestone in the evolution of gaming with Unreal's return.

@Rau-Le-Creuset It is fun :D kinda OP, but it is the same in Metro 2033, too.

@thequickshooter @MW2ismygame The Ranger difficulty mode is designed for fans of Metro. It was included as a preorder bonus because fans would preorder and so they get something unique. The $5 price tag isn't bad and if you enjoyed the game enough to want to play a harder mode then you'll probably want to support the devs with an extra $5, no?
Call of Duty 1 for PC and Battlefield 1942 released free DLC, maps, vehicles, weapons, factions for free with regular patches, and they're more hated for DLC now then ever.

@WiredDreemz The alternate ending is the proper ending. Not nearly climactic as the Dark Ones hallucinations and the tower climbing in Metro 2033, but far more conclusive and appropriate than the "bad ending".

@Emerald_Scott It *does* look a lot like Vanquish! Nice observation

I wanted to see new ways to control the game, like grippable sensors for your palms, or buttons for your middle, ring, and pinkey fingers on the back of the controller. Now *that* would have been something to get excited about. The Wii succeeded through new ways controlling games. If graphics were downsized for these next gen games, then there'd be no reason to move onto the next consoles.

@robbiejones This is informative. Nothing is opinionated. You're on a video game website. Why are you complaining?

I think it's worth mentioning that this game uses cover perfectly in tribute to the traditional FPS. The terrain and its obstacles require careful body placement to shoot through, around, and into cover... all without needing to magnetize your body to the wall as in Gear of War. Shooting through a supply room has never been so sweet.

Lost Planet (the 1st) had a great cast of characters, a very Japanized look and feel with unique weapons and movement. This is like its American counterpart... like RE6 when compared to RE4. I guarantee when you finish this game you won't remember anything more than a white blur and a glowing orange sac.

@cjtopspin Wolfenstein 3d was about the escape of a prisoner being lost in corridors filled with war machines. I don't see how you formed your opinion, but I hope the song serves as a segway to Wolfenstein being returned to its roots.
