Did any of you actually expect anything different - look at any Blizzard game released since Warcraft III. All of their games are released with graphics on par with two year old games (a smart move on their part - almost anyone can run the games well). They are also big fans of the cartoon art style, which doesn't necessarily fit the evil theme of Diablo, but I think works well enough.
I still think the average user would benefit more from the increased speed of SSD's, not so much higher capacity. Once SSD's become more affordable, that is...
I did try overclocking it around 3 weeks ago but the games I was playing would just close down after a while so I thought that it was just getting to hot and set back to stock settings. I take it I have broken something. Will teach me to not fiddle around with stuff im not 100% sure about :(. On another note if i were to get another 570 could I underclock the card I have now and use it in sli?

As I said just try underclocking the memory.
Sorry forgot to add I have been. Anything above 1400 seems to cause the problem.
Overheating, possibly. I had symptoms exactly like this a while back (on my good old 7900gt) and it turned out to be overheating.
Well, plasma displays have slower response times, although more recent ones have less so of a problem with that. They do have burn in if you leave them on, again an issue you can avoid if you just turn off the tv when you arent using it. Plasma displays are generally cheaper :)
