Find the system which have the most games that appeals to you.

themobilephone

Basically, that's all you need to keep in mind. Also, if you have the option, just get a PC (unless you are into a lot of multiplayer, local or online). A lot of games nowadays often come out with a PC version, so...Yeah.

And 360's are still cheaper. Sure, they RRoD, but that one or two weeks to get your new one, is a good break time to see the light of day and get your social life back.

Snipers are fun. Lamo campers aren't, although when you do manage to blow them up with a grenade, it makes your happy dancer that much happier.

What I dislike, is when snipers run at you, and somehow manage to shoot you in the face while you're gunnin' some lead into them with your heavy machine gun. That doesn't make any sense!

Have you SEEN how big a Barret .50 Cal is in real life?!? How the HELL are you going to run at me with that and shoot!

I wouldn't get either. GoW2 is okay, Fable 2 is oookay, although Fable is better.

I'd just wait a bit till we get games coming out in the fall that actually look decent. Or, I'd just buy out some old games that are cheaper, and probably more fun.

COD, Elder Scrolls, etc etc.

Any of the guitar heroes. Sure, they're fun with friends, but I could never play it all by my lonesome self.

I just think gaming companies need to get better writers, especially in the RPG department. Some of the crap that comes through these days, well...I know of children's books that present more admireable characters and complex themes.

I've found that writing has going downhill.

And as the younger generation, I do see that graphics play a big role. I mean, if it looks like crap, I'm not going to want to stare at it for long right? And that's where all the vets, like said here, flame up.

Why?

Because a lot of those games that look crappy, ARE POORLY WRITTEN. I am, by no means, going to play a game with terrible voice acting, and terrible writing. No way.

For you see, in the olden days, games had poor graphics, but amazing writing. Like Planescape, or Diablo, or Baldur's Gate, or FFVIII. Now?

Now? We just get terrible writing that makes me want to vomit.

The absurdity of this topic was formed with the title.

I mean, yeah, it's the U.S, they have their guns. And then everyone makesa big "oooh, why do you Americans need your big guns?". It's stupid nonsense. Why does it matter unless you ~live in America?

Srsly. Gun control has been brought up thousands of times, there's been movies, documentaries and so on and so forth. I don't understand why people are so overly concerned about Americans owning guns.

Alright, maybe they own more guns, or more people own guns in America. So what?

It is not your problem to question the culture (or whatever you want to call it, I wouldn't consider it "culture") of another country. If you got a problem with it, don't go to America.

Done.

Yeah. Gaming for 2009 has blown, not only the PC but other consoles too. I have a gift card for a gaming store floating around, but whenever I get there...I browse the shelves I'm thinking,

"You know, all these games really aren't worth the 40-70$."

Longest time spent on a video game by myself? Prolly Oblivion, I racked up about 300+.

Longest time w/ friends? Man, the system links I've had with Halo 2 were insane. A dozen guys for hours on end, playing Halo 2 with waaay too many Red Bulls?...Bad. Regardless, I've spent hundreds of hours on Halo 2 with local and system link play.

360 XBL was always terrible since I started.

I remember the good ole Xbox Live days with Halo 2 when you never meet kids with squeeky voices, and if you did...

BOOM! HEADSHOT!
