i managed to connect my ps3 to my laptop via ethernet and play my ps3 online using my laptops wireless internet ( my laptop is connected to someones internet without them knowing), i just want to forward ports on the router my laptop is connected wirelessly toso i can play my ps3 online with little or no lagg ( it can be done i just dont know how)

my ps3s ip has to travel through my laptop and then travel through the router to get internet, i need to forward ports to my ps3s ip address, (but doesnt my ps3s ip address change as it travels through my laptops wireless transmitter) ? so which ip do i have to forward ports to ? my ps3 or my laptop ? thanks for your help

mine was when i downloaded a theme to my ps3, i forgot my ps3 was loud, so i downloaded the theme and used it then when i moved my analogue stick, the sound was a bullet shot haha that scared the crap out of me , i actually jumped haha

I honestly don't know how it can accept external updates for a game if only game data shows up on it's list. The game list won't accept a USB drive.

I've just checked the site COD W@W site and there's no such thing as an external patch for the PS3 version. If anything, it would be on their site. Any patches downloaded from sites like Fileshack would be for the PC version.

Um, PS3 game updates appear automatically when you load up the game. Why would you get a file from Fileshack...?

install the cod5 1.04 patch on my ps3 using a flash drive ???, ive downloaded the file from fileshack, but dont know the procedure of how to copy it to the flash drive and then updating cod5 on my ps3, many thanks

Blingah, I feel your pain bro, this happened to me last weekend. I was gonna relax get my Cloaking badge which I was getting then halfway through the match my PS3 dies on me and I was really upset for the whole weekend.

I have the same problem, when I turn on my PS3 (40Gb) it bleeps 3 times and turns of, the start-light keeps blinking red. I can't get it to work at all? Anyone an idea what is wrong?HN34
