And when I used to say that with the Brotherhood (when it came out), AC franchise has started to go downhill, everybody called me crazy. It wasn't a bad game on it's own, neither was AC3 and I'm sure AC4 won't be a bad game. But, when you put it in this kind of perspective, putting all of the parts together side by side, you see how much has changed and changed for worse.
For me, AC3 ruined it completely, I haven't even come close to finishing it and now I have no reason what so ever to play AC4, it's just ruined. So haven't even completed half of AC3, but replayed older ACs as soon as I would finish them for the first time. Huge difference, it can't be me, something has deffinitelly gone wrong with the game. As a matter of fact, I think I'll start on AC2 again.
Thats' her personal opinion, so if if from her objective point of view the game deserves a 10, the subjective point of view (the portions of the game that she didn't like) lowered the score by one...fucking ONE point.
I'd say that's a good mesure. If she gave the game a 10, it wouldn't be an honest review.
I'm not talking about exact percentage dude, please.
I'm saying it a combination of personal opinion and obvious facts, so when you look at it as a sum, you should get an idea what the game is all about and if it's your cup of tea.
At the end of the day, the subjective portion of the review shouldn't bother you at all unless you know that you have the same preferences and tastes as the reviewer. It doesn't make any difference, it's a personal view, and you should make your own based on the fact and objective point portion of the review.
